A Florida concert promoter has taken drastic measures to ensure the safety of his guests.
As reported by NBC News, Paul Williams of Leadfoot Promotions is currently in the process of selling tickets from an upcoming punk-rock gig.
However, in an effort to protect all his guests from Covid, he is charging guests who are vaccinated $18 per ticket, and those who aren't a whopping $999.99 per ticket.
Local station WFTS reports that Williams found inspiration for the idea while brainstorming how to book his concert in a quick and efficient manner.

As more and more people across the US receive their vaccinations, the CDC is allowing the return of live events with live audiences. As a result, Williams believed that offering a discount to vaccinated fans would not only boost ticket sales, but also encourage more people to get vaccinated.
Most importantly, though, Williams wants to protect his guests the best he can.
Speaking to WFTS, the promoter said: "We’re just trying to do a show safely. And they should go out and get vaccinated to protect themselves and their families and their community."
However, despite his best effort to keep concertgoers safe, Williams has no legal right to turn away unvaccinated guests.
Earlier this month, Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis issued a ban on vaccine passports in the state of Florida. In an accompanying statement, DeSantis said:
"In Florida, your personal choice regarding vaccinations will be protected and no business or government entity will be able to deny you services based on your decision."
Fully aware of this, Williams is now encouraging any unvaccinated guests to purchase the full-prised ticket - adding that they will be treated like any other fans.
In a Facebook post, Williams writes: "To be eligible for the DISCOUNT, you will need to bring a government issued photo ID and your COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card (if you have lost it keep reading, we got you). You will need to have had your second shot of Pfizer or Moderna, or your single shot of Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccine on or before 6/12/2021.
"If you do not care about the discount, tickets are available for a flat rate of $999.99."
As of this writing, no full-price tickets have been purchased, NBC reports.
The gig - which will feature performances from bands like - will take place on June 26 at VFW Post 39 in St. Petersburg.
