The influencer's three-year-old son, Trigg, was found unresponsive in a swimming pool at the family’s home in Chandler, Arizona, on May 12.

Emergency responders arrived at the Kiser residence on May 12 after receiving a call about a drowning. CPR was already in progress when paramedics arrived, according to the Chandler Fire Department.

The child was initially taken to Chandler Regional Hospital before being airlifted to Phoenix Children’s Hospital, where he remained in critical condition until his death on May 18.

Chandler Police Department spokesperson Sonu Wasu confirmed an active investigation is underway. “Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the child’s family and loved ones during this unimaginable time,” she stated. “The investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident remain ongoing. This is still an open investigation.”

“Out of respect for the family’s privacy, we will not be releasing additional details until the investigation is closed,” Wasu added.

Just one day before the drowning, Kiser posted a video on social media, celebrating her life with sons Trigg and newborn Theodore.

"Forever grateful that I get to be a momma. Happy Mother’s Day," she penned in the caption, adding the hashtags “#momssupportingmoms,” “#momoftwo,” and “#boymom.”

She also shared a more reflective video later that day, saying: “I seriously cannot believe that this Mother’s Day I have two kids. Not only two kids, two boys."

"Being a mom is truly the most amazing thing, while simultaneously being scary, terrifying, hard, beautiful, amazing. Literally all of the emotions in one. Seriously, just so grateful to be a mom," she added.

Trigg was born in July 2021. On his third birthday last summer, the content creator posted a joyful tribute: “We are so lucky to have our Trigg. Happy Birthday to our favorite boy in the whole world, we can't wait for year 3,” along with a photo of her son smiling beside birthday balloons and new Hot Wheels toys.

The family had recently grown with the birth of Theodore in March. “We love you so much and our hearts feel like they are going to burst,” Kiser penned in the announcement post shared on Instagram.

“I am so grateful for a smooth delivery, a healthy baby, and the best husband,” she said, calling Brady her “rock,” and adding, “The love I have for my boys is infinite".

Her final Instagram post, shared six days before Trigg’s passing, was a photo montage captioned, “Love a good dump of photos and a good hair day.” Among the images was a tender shot of her husband lying in bed with both their sons.

Our thoughts continue to be with Emilie and Brady at this time.
