Ghislaine Maxwell has recently taken part in an interview, during which she spoke out about her connection to Elon Musk.

Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence for child sex trafficking linked to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, sat down with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche in July for two days of questioning at FCI Tallahassee, a low-security women’s prison in Florida, per BBC News.

The hundreds of pages of transcripts reveal details about her years with Epstein, her interactions with high-profile figures, and the money she says she received even after their romantic relationship ended.

Maxwell explained that her romantic involvement with Epstein began in the early 1990s but ended before the turn of the century.

“By 1999 our relationship had foundered. We stopped having sexual relations in 1999, not full sex,” she said.

Though the pair sometimes “shared a bedroom,” Epstein was seeing other women at the time. Maxwell said she realized their relationship was truly over when he refused to see her on September 11, 2001.

“He wouldn’t see me at all” on the day of the attacks in New York, despite being just five blocks away. “And then I knew, as anyone did at that time, if you're not going to be there for someone in 9/11, you're never going to be there.”

The so-called “Epstein client list” has long been the subject of speculation. Maxwell flatly denied its existence.

“There is no list,” she insisted.

She also maintained that she never witnessed inappropriate conduct from any of Epstein’s associates.

“If I didn’t make it clear, I will reiterate it. I never, ever saw any man doing something inappropriate with a woman of any age. I never saw inappropriate habits.”

Of Donald Trump, she added: “The president was never inappropriate with anybody. In the times I was with him, he was a gentleman in all respects.”

Her ties to Elon Musk

Maxwell also spoke about her connection to tech billionaire Elon Musk, saying she met him around 2010 or 2011.

“We were — or a bunch of us, I don’t even remember how many we were, but not many of us. [We] went to another friend’s island… Epstein, he was not there… And we were there together for, I want to say, three or four days, something like that in my memory. And Mr. Musk was present for that.”

Asked if she ever met Musk’s brother, Kimbal, she replied: “I don’t know if I’ve ever met him. I know that he has a brother, and I don’t think I met him.”

When pressed on whether Epstein and Musk knew each other, she said: “I believe they did. And the only reason I say that is not from my memory, but because I saw — I think I saw — my memory is that in discovery, they were communicating on email.”

She clarified that she couldn’t confirm this firsthand, saying: “I don’t — my — like I said, my memory is not — it’s not as good as I would like it to be. And I just want to say that.”
