Ivanka Trump shared a message to her father Donald Trump after his conviction in the high-profile hush money trial.
On Thursday (May 30), the 77-year-old former president of the United States was found guilty on all 34 felony counts against him in the hush money scandal.
Trump faced charges of business fraud linked to hush-money payments made to former adult entertainment actress Stormy Daniels.
The payments, totaling $130,000, were allegedly orchestrated by the ex-POTUS' former lawyer, Michael Cohen, to secure Daniels' silence about her alleged sexual encounter with Trump prior to the 2016 election.
Following the conviction, Ivanka broke her silence to share a four-word response on her Instagram story.
The 42-year-old, who was the former advisor to the ex-president, posted a childhood picture that showed a young Trump holding his daughter on his lap.
She penned the words “I love you Dad,” with a heart emoji next to the snap - sharing a touching show of support for her father.
Ivanka's brother, Donald Trump Jr., also defended their father, laying the blame on Trump's political opponents.
"The Democrats have succeeded in their years-long attempt to turn America into a third-world s***hole," the former president's eldest child said in a statement to ABC News.
In addition to this, the ex-US leader's middle son, Eric Trump, took to X (formerly Twitter) to declare that the trial ruling means that Trump will win in November.
"May 30th, 2024 might be remembered as the day Donald J. Trump won the 2024 Presidential Election," he penned.
The ruling meant that not only was Trump the very first president in US history to be criminally tried, but he was also the first former president to ever be convicted of felony crimes.
According to The Guardian, he left the courtroom after the verdict and addressed the cameras by slamming the court proceedings as "rigged" and "disgraceful".
He then emphasized that the "real verdict is going to be November 5 by the people," referring to the forthcoming presidential election, and contended that he is "very innocent, adding: "They know what happened here, and everybody knows what happened here."
Trump accused current president Joe Biden and the administration of orchestrating a "rigged" system to target political rivals, claiming that they are trying to “wound or hurt a political opponent."
He then proclaimed that "this is long from over," before leaving the scene.
Meanwhile, the Biden-Harris campaign issued a statement, highlighting that "nobody is above the law," per CBS News.
"There is still only one way to keep Donald Trump out of the Oval Office: at the ballot box. Convicted felon or not, Trump will be the Republican nominee for president," the statement continued.
"The threat Trump poses to our democracy has never been greater. He is running an increasingly unhinged campaign of revenge and retribution, pledging to be a dictator ‘on day one’ and calling for our Constitution to be ‘terminated’ so he can regain and keep power
"A second Trump term means chaos, ripping away Americans’ freedoms and fomenting political violence – and the American people will reject it this November," they concluded.
