K*ller Chris Watts' new girlfriend identified - he plans on marrying her in prison
Chris Watts is reportedly planning on marrying his new girlfriend while serving multiple life sentences for murdering his pregnant wife and their two young daughters.
In August 2018, the 41-year-old killed Shanann Watts and his daughters, Bella and Celeste, before hiding the girls' bodies inside crude oil tanks and burying Shanann in a shallow grave.
Now, eight years after the murders, he is preparing to tie the knot behind bars with 39-year-old Lizzie Henderson, according to the Daily Mail.
Henderson reportedly visited Watts 23 times in prison
The publication reported that Henderson, who is a realtor, and her mother relocated from Ohio to Wisconsin to be closer to Watts, who is currently incarcerated at Dodge Correctional Institution.
Since August 2026, she has visited Watts 23 times over 15 months, as cited by Inside Edition. Each visit was a "contact visit" that lasted three hours.
Under the prison's visitation rules, incarcerated individuals may "embrace and kiss" visitors at the beginning and end of the visit, but "all other physical contact through the remainder of the visit is prohibited."
Lizzie speaks out about her relationship with the killer
The realtor, who has apparently already begun using the name "Lizzie Watts," confirmed her relationship with Watts to the Daily Mail, acknowledging that some people may perceive their romance as "weird".
When she was asked how their relationship began, she declined to share details, instead saying: "How things began is between me, him, and God."
She was also questioned about her future husband brutally murdering his wife and children, and revealed that Watts "knows" how she feels.
"How I feel about it? He knows. He knows how I feel," she continued. "I don't know all the people involved, but I would want to respect them."
She went on to say that the murders were "something harsh for anyone to experience."
Lizzie's family was unaware of Watts' crimes
Some of the 39-year-old's relatives knew she was dating a criminal, but they did not know who he was or what his crimes were.
Inside Edition report shared comments from Lizzie's sister, Fredericka, who slammed the relationship, saying: "I feel that when people are sentenced to prison, the privilege of being involved in a relationship shouldn't be given."
Her brother, Johnny Henderson, 43, who is imprisoned in Ohio for sexual assault, also added: "She told me that he was serving time for committing a murder, but she made it seem like the person he killed stole something or [did something to wrong him]."
However, Lizzie's former stepdad, George Wilson Jr., admitted that he knew about their relationship and that they had spoken about marriage.
After murdering his wife and kids, Watts told the police that they had mysteriously disappeared, even making a public appeal for their return.
In an interview with KMGH at the time, which was cited by ABC Action News, he claimed: "When I came home and then walked in the house, nothing. Vanished. Nothing was here. My kids are my life."
However, just days later, his story unraveled, and he confessed to killing all three and pleaded guilty to all nine charges in November 2018 after Shannan's family requested that prosecutors not pursue the death penalty.
