Donald Trump has been photographed playing golf at his resort in Virginia, putting to rest the wave of bizarre death rumours that have been circulating online.

The former president was seen in a white polo shirt, his signature red MAGA hat, and black trousers as he teed off on the course, appearing relaxed and unbothered by the speculation surrounding him.

The sighting was confirmed by the White House press pool, which noted that Trump left in his motorcade early Saturday morning before heading to the links, The Express Tribune reports.

The report, timestamped at 8:49AM on August 30, documented his arrival at the course, offering concrete evidence that the 79-year-old is alive and well.

Social media had been buzzing with claims that Trump had quietly passed away.

Rumours gained traction after Vice President JD Vance added fuel to the fire in a USA Today interview on August 27. He insisted the President was in “good shape,” then said: “Yes, terrible tragedies happen. But I feel very confident the president of the United States is in good shape, is going to serve out the remainder of his term and do great things for the American people.

Simpsons creator Matt Groening was dragged into conspiracy threads suggesting a cartoon “prediction” of Trump’s death.

Clips on TikTok and chatter on X only amplified the theories, with some users pointing to unverified reports of health issues like bruising and chronic venous insufficiency as supposed evidence.

Streamers and influencers, including Adin Ross, attempted to dismiss the claims in real time, but the frenzy continued until the Virginia golf sighting broke through. Axios confirmed that Trump was scheduled to play golf, further proving the speculation false.

Trump himself has remained active on Truth Social throughout the rumours, posting updates and endorsements in recent days.

Still, the viral claims reflect just how quickly misinformation can take hold, particularly around a figure as polarising as the former president.

For now, Trump appears focused on golf and politics in equal measure.

While whispers of ill health may linger, the images of him enjoying a day on the course serve as the clearest sign yet that the ex-president remains very much alive.
