Michael Jackson's niece, Yasmine Jackson, has taken to Instagram to share dramatic pictures on Instagram after she was allegedly stabbed seven times by a woman who used a racial slur.
The 25-year-old, who works as a nurse, posted pictures of her injuries on the photo-sharing platform. "God. Please protect our Black queens. These are strange times right now and we need you more than ever in light of the Black Lives Matter movement sweeping the US and around the world," she wrote.
"I was stabbed 7 times right by my house because “I’m a n*****”. This woman chased me down and started stabbing me. She said it’s because I was a n***** and that’s all I could hear while I was being stabbed. I can’t move my neck at all. I’m scared to be alone. I asked people to help me because she was stabbing me and nobody helped. Until someone did, actually a few people did & I am thankful for you. I pray to God that if you have any kind of hatred in your heart towards black people that you heal it. I didn’t deserve this, nobody does. Oh & btw I’m still fucking proud to be black [sic]," she wrote in another Instagram post.
The attack, which occurred on the 30th May, took place in Las Vegas.
Per news.com.au, Las Vegas police have charged 22-year-old Angela Bonell with a hate crime and attempted murder with a deadly weapon.
A video of the incident shows Yasmine sitting on the ground, as Bonell can be seen in handcuffs being led by police to a car.
"Bonell stated she was just out for a walk and does not own a knife," Las Vegas police said in their arrest report.
According to The Sun, witnesses told law enforcement that Bonell had made noise complaints about Jackson, who was her upstairs neighbor.
This comes after a slew of anti-racism protests swept the United States and other major cities across the globe, following the death of George Floyd.
Floyd, a black man, was arrested by Minneapolis police on Monday, May 25, for reportedly using a counterfeit $20 note in a store. While being detained, ex-cop Derek Chauvin - a 19-year veteran of the force - knelt on his neck for eight minutes and 46 seconds.
Chauvin faces charges of second-degree murder and manslaughter, while the three other arresting officers have been charged with aiding and abetting murder.

A man identified as Robert Fuller was found last Wednesday, hanging from a tree near Palmdale City Hall in California. The 20-year-old had a rope around his neck, and his death was reported as a suicide.
Two trans women of color were found dead in separate instances. Dominique “Rem’mie” Fells' dismembered body was discovered alongside the Schuylkill River in the Bartman’s Garden area of Philadelphia on June 8.
The second trans woman to be killed was Riah Milton. Police officials say she was shot several times during an attempted robbery in Liberty Township, Ohio, on Tuesday.
