A man has gone viral on social media after approaching a group of young women at a beach and likening their swimsuits to "pornography".
Footage of the uncomfortable encounter was uploaded to TikTok by user Mia, who uses the handle @ggarbagefairy on the social media platform.
Per the Daily Mail, Mia was visiting a beach in Fort Collins, Colorado, when she and her eight friends were approached by a man named as Logan Dorn. Standing over the young women, Dorn likened their swimsuits to "thongs and bras" and asked the girls: "Why do you dress this way?"
He added that the young women should be considerate of the children on the beach, saying:
"Take young eyes into consideration. They don't need to see pornography right in front of them. You're flaunting your stuff."
After the group told Dorn multiple times to leave them alone and that he shouldn't be looking at them if he didn't want to see their bodies, he said: "There’s freedom of speech and if men of God don’t stand up, then our society is going to go down the drain because there’s no morality."
One of the girls - all of whom are 18 years old - then tells him that she is an atheist. Another adds: "And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you."
"There's gonna come a day when you're gonna come face to face with God," he says.
At the end of the videos, a woman approached the group of teenagers and tells them that although she is not judging them for their beach attire, the group still need to consider what they wear.
"It does matter what you guys wear, not because of what he says, but because you need to value yourself," she says.
On TikTok, both videos have been viewed a combined 3.6 million times, with the comments overwhelmingly supporting the teenagers:
Dorn has since taken to TikTok to share a video of his own explaining his actions.
In his video, he said that he was exposed to pornography from a young age and therefore wanted to protect "young eyes".
He adds: "I just had a righteous anger come over me and also just boldness by the Holy Spirit to go and confront these ladies and to speak truth."
