On Monday night, while negotiations with Iran continue at a standstill, President Donald Trump posted a barrage of AI-generated images featuring aliens, missile strikes, and dramatic outer space warfare imagery.
Within just a few hours, Trump had shared around 25 posts on Truth Social.
One image showed Trump walking beside an alien character while Secret Service agents followed behind.
The low-quality image with fingers obscuring the frame was intended to look like a secretly captured photograph.
While the images have prompted people online to speculate about Trump’s mental state, it is thought that the images were released to remind people of the ‘UFO files’ that were released just a couple of weeks ago.
The files, released by the newly renamed Department of War, contain satellite images of alleged extraterrestrial life.
The department also claimed that astronauts on the Apollo missions had seen mysterious lights in space, and the Nazi party tried to build a UFO during the Second World War.
Another image titled “Space Force” showed the US President floating in space surrounded by satellites and appearing to direct missile strikes from orbit.
He is depicted sitting at a control panel with his fingers on a big red button, surrounded by four generals who are tiny in comparison.
On the screens above him, missiles and explosions are hitting the Earth’s surface.
This social media posting spree comes just days after the administration affirmed its commitment to discovering and combatting extraterrestrial life in a new statement.
The Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, said: "The Department of War is in lockstep with President Trump to bring unprecedented transparency regarding our government’s understanding of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena.
“These files, hidden behind classifications, have long fueled justified speculation — and it’s time the American people see it for themselves. This release of declassified documents demonstrates the Trump Administration’s earnest commitment to unprecedented transparency."
Many people online believe that the AI-generated images and UFO files have been released to distract the public from the war with Iran and the Epstein files.
One X user said: "The Epstein Files are closing in on him, and he’s desperate for distraction no matter how ludicrous it sounds or appears."
Another added: "Just another distraction away from Epstein files and now the failed war in Iran. Nothing more".
