Authorities have issued a warrant for the arrest of her wife, Yolanda Marodi (also known as Yolanda Olenjniczak), who is suspected of fleeing to Mexico shortly after the attack.
Now, as reported by NBC News, it was been revealed that her final moments were caught on a Ring security camera, capturing her bloodied and pleading for her life

According to an affidavit filed in San Diego County Superior Court, a voice believed to be Rebecca's can be heard in the video crying out: “Yolanda! Please … I don’t want to die.”
Yolanda’s chilling response: “You should have thought about that before.”
The footage, which was turned over to investigators by Rebecca’s mother, shows Rebecca with visible blood on her neck, while Yolanda appears to have blood-stained arms and is seen holding a knife, the New York Post reports.
At 8:09PM, Rebecca is seen asking her wife to call 911. The report states that Olenjniczak, - seemingly with blood on her arms - was “seen at one point standing in front of Rebecca with what appeared to be a knife in her right hand".
Approximately 10 minutes later, Olenjniczak “is seen gathering pets, random items, and some luggage, and loading it into a silver Chevrolet Equinox SUV,” the warrant adds.
By 9:16PM, the vehicle was seen crossing into Mexico, according to a Department of Homeland Security log cited in the affidavit.
A Marriage on the Brink And Chilling Text
Authorities believe the violent attack was triggered by Rebecca’s plan to leave the marriage.

A week before her death, Rebecca reportedly told Yolanda she wanted a divorce, revealing she had met someone else.
Per NBC News, the day after Rebecca was killed, Yolanda allegedly texted an associate, seemingly admitting to the attack: “Becky came home and told me she was leaving, she met someone else, all the messages were lies. We had a big fight and I hurt her… I’m sorry.”
Yolanda’s History of Violence
This isn’t the first time Yolanda has been accused of a fatal stabbing.
In 2003, she was convicted of voluntary manslaughter after killing her estranged husband, James Joseph Olejniczak, in San Bernardino County. She served a decade behind bars before being released in 2013.
Despite her past, Rebecca still married Yolanda, believing she had changed, friends said.
Now, law enforcement agencies — including the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force —are urgently searching for Yolanda, fearing she may be hiding in Mexico.
She was last seen traveling with a small white dog, authorities said.
Rebecca — known as “Becky” to friends — was just months away from retirement after a 30-year career with Cal Fire.
Anyone with information about Yolanda Marodi’s whereabouts is urged to contact law enforcement immediately.
