Amid the excitement and anxiety of this 2024 Election Day, the world is watching as the votes are being counted and either Kamala Harris or Donald Trump will be named the next President of the United States.
As a result, news stations across the world are broadcasting their own coverage of the unfolding events of the election results - and the UK is no different.
The nation's Channel 4 has been broadcasting a night-long special US election program, with a number of panelists sharing their insights on the political battle for the White House.
And one of those guests was Stormy Daniels - the 45-year-old adult star who had accused Trump of engaging in a sexual encounter with him.
On May 30, 2024, Trump was found guilty of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records to conceal payments made to Daniels in an effort to ensure her silence about their alleged encounter.

Now, in a candid revelation on Channel 4, Daniels shared the chilling impact of her association with the former president.
"It was scary in the beginning, then it got quiet for a while. During this election, it kind of picked up again," she explained, per the Daily Mail.
The 45-year-old highlighted a disturbing shift in the behavior of Trump's supporters, noting: "The biggest difference between this time and the first time around is that people aren't hiding."
This newfound boldness among some Trump supporters, according to Daniels, has been fueled by events like the January 6 attack on the Capitol. She remarked on the brazenness of these individuals who now "aren't hiding anymore".
"They're using their real screen names, they're using their real phone numbers," she said.
She claimed that the threats have escalated not just in frequency but in their explicitness and precision.
Daniels' ordeal intensified when, during a courtroom testimony in May, Trump’s attorneys reportedly displayed a document publicly that inadvertently contained her unredacted home address.
"So I haven't been home since July. I have been living in an RV and traveling,” Daniels disclosed.
The severity of her situation became palpably clear when she mentioned that her family and pets, including horses that have been shot twice, are also allegedly in jeopardy.
Her fears are compounded by the uncertainty of the election's outcome. "To be completely honest with you, I don't know [what’s worse]," she said, reflecting on the consequences of either a Trump win or loss.

Daniels even touched on the extreme reactions her public appearances now provoke, with Trump supporters allegedly calling in bomb threats to venues hosting her live comedy shows. "Trump supporters were calling in droves and threatening club owners [with] burning down the clubs," she claimed.
Elsewhere in the interview, Daniels also revealed that she had to wear a bulletproof vest to court hearings following certain threats.
