Televangelist claims he's seen chilling vision of what will happen to people who didn't vote Trump on Judgment Day
A televangelist has revealed a premonition of what may happen to people who don't vote in the next election.
Kenneth Copeland, 89, is the founder of Eagle Mountain International Church Inc. (EMIC) in Texas, but is best known for his televised sermons and for being part of the evangelical executive advisory board that Donald Trump assembled during his campaign for the presidency.
During a recent broadcast, he issued a stark warning for those that aren't planning to vote in the next election, presumably for Trump - and how they'll spend the rest of eternity.
Copeland claimed: "I saw this in the spirit - literally. Judgment day, and Jesus stood there and he said, 'those of you that didn't vote, I put you in that nation and you didn't vote. So you will hear or you didn't pray and vote like I told you to.
"'You will listen to the names of all the babies that are here and never got any life. And it'll take a while, because there's over 65 million of them, but you are gonna listen to every one of them and you are gonna be held responsible for their death.'"
Well, that doesn't sound like a great way to spend the rest of eternity after you die, does it?
Though Copeland was appointed to Trump's advisory board, he clarified that he did not endorse Trump at the time, but has since referenced the President in multiple bold claims.
Before the 2016 election, Copeland claimed that Christians who did not vote for Trump would be guilty of murder, referring to the opposition candidate Hillary Clinton's pro-choice views.
He also later claimed that Trump was "led by the spirit of God", and has spoken at some of the POTUS's rallies.
After the video was shared on X (formerly Twitter), people flooded the comments with their thoughts, writing: "Kenneth Copeland, net worth $300 million, has opinions!"
Another added: "Kenneth Copeland's endorsement is one more nail in Trump's coffin. Legislation has not lowered the abortion rate at all Just one more big lie."
Others commented: "This man is truly lost..." and: "That’s oddly specific."
One pointed out: "Logically if they were aborted then they would not have been given names? Alternatively, if the good lord already assigns each new life a name at conception, then we're all living with false heavenly identities and its going to be damn difficult when St Peter asks for our ID."
It comes as a new poll claims Trump's approval rating has fallen to a record low ahead of the midterm elections on November 3.
The Reuters/Ipsos poll, as reported by Sky News, claims just 31% approve of the president's performance in office, with 47% of those polled saying they'd vote Democrat if the congressional elections were held today, with 35% choosing Republican.
