Kylie Jenner is facing backlash from social media users after she shared a video of an ambulance in the crowd at Travis Scott's Astroworld festival.
The negative response comes after it was reported that at least eight people lost their lives at the concert, following a chaotic crowd surge on the opening night of the two-day festival.
Per BBC News, emergency officials have said that eleven people were transported to hospitals in cardiac arrest - with eight people tragically dying. Some people were also treated on-site at the NRG Park in Houston, Texas, at the temporary field hospital.
The festival - which is run by Jenner's partner, rapper Travis Scott - reportedly saw 50,000 people attend on Friday night.
As well as eight people losing their lives, hundreds of people were injured.
Houston Fire Chief Samuel Peña told reporters at a news conference that "scores of people were injured" as festival-goers surged toward the stage as Scott was performing.
He added: "That caused some panic, and it started causing some injuries, people began to fall out, become unconscious, and it created additional panic."
Footage even shows Scott pausing his performance and calling for help after spotting that a fan had collapsed in the crowd:However, one video shared by 24-year-old Jenner has angered many social media users.
Jenner - who is currently pregnant and shares daughter Stormi with Scott - attended the first night of the festival and shared several moments from the evening to her Instagram Stories.
Several short videos show the packed crowd dancing along to the music as the explosive pyro lights up the stage. However, in one clip, an ambulance can be seen in the middle of the crowd with its lights flashing. As of this writing, the video is still live on Jenner's Instagram Stories after being posted nine hours ago.
Following the news of the night's tragic events, fans have slammed Jenner for not only sharing the video, but also for leaving it up for as long as she has.
One person tweeted: "I know it’s not her fault, but Kylie Jenner storying this video at #ASTROWORLDFest as a literal EMT car rolls thru the crowd as the show continues on is so incredibly dystopian."
A second added: "Omg i literally can’t, kylie posted an instagram story of the concert and you can CLEARLY SEE THE PARAMEDICS TRYING TO GET THROUGH LIKE WTF [sic]."
"I want to remind you that you can see the ambulance on Kylie Jenners Instagram story from the Travis Scott concert and despite the news has not been taken down #AstroWorld," a third person tweeted.
Another Twitter user wrote: "Kylie deadass posted an IG story with a police/ ambulance vehicle in the middle of the crowd..... like, what did she THINK was happening???????? #ASTROWORLDFest"
Houston Police Chief Larry Satterwhite, who was near the front of the crowd during the event, also told reporters that emergency personnel "immediately started doing CPR" in an attempt to help those who had collapsed.
"It seems like it happened with just over the course of a few minutes," Satterwhite added. "Suddenly we had several people down on the ground experiencing some type of cardiac arrest or some type of medical episode."
Houston Police Chief Troy Finner has asked people not to speculate on what unfolded at this time, adding: "We're going to do an investigation and find out because it's not fair to the producers, to anybody else involved, until we determine what happened, what caused the surge. We don't know, but we will find out."
