A woman has been arrested after allegedly mailing 180 photographs of nude men to 30 people.

Sarah Pharis, 32, was arrested on December 28 after it was claimed that she sent 150 nude photographs of a nude man to at least 30 people.

She was released later that day on a $75,000 bail, but was later arrested again on Thursday, January 14, when officers from Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office said that a second man also claimed that had private images had been mailed out.

The 32-year-old was charged with an additional 30 counts of non-consensual disclosure of a private image and released on a $15,000 bail the same day.

According to police, Pharis traveled from Louisiana to Texas to mail the photographs.

In an interview with KPLC, chief deputy Stitch Guillory said: "A number of different people contacted him [the victim] and said, 'we've received something through the mail and it has photographs of you.

"It just so happened that the postmark on some of the mail they received came from Texas - the Houston area."

One of Pharis' victims claims that she sent "hundreds" of photos of him engaging in "lewd acts, as well as letters defaming him" and claims she gained access to this content "through Facebook."

The man claims that she was able to log onto his account as she had originally created it for him.

Chief deputy Guillory used the incident as an opportunity to warn people about the dangers of giving out access to their social media accounts.

One of Pharis's neighbors told Fox: "I didn't really think that she would be capable of that. She seemed like a down to earth person.

"I don't know what made her do that."

Another added: "I think it's crazy. I don't know what would push somebody to do that."

Pharis has been released on bail ahead of her next court appearance where she faces 180 counts of non-consensual disclosure of a private image.

Details of the relationship between Pharis and the two men as well as those she sent the images to have not been disclosed.
