The "unlicensed" practitioner who allegedly performed cosmetic procedures on a Kim Kardashian lookalike before her death has been charged.

A 34-year-old model named Christina Ashten Gourkani - who went by Ashten G. online - tragically died in the hospital last month, hours after undergoing the risky procedure that proved fatal.

Gourkani allegedly hired a Florida woman named Vivian Gomez - who did not have a license to practice medicine - to help her with the enhancement, as reported by The Daily Post.

Per Daily Mail, the 50-year-old woman traveled to Burlingame Hotel in California where she reportedly gave the model "several injections" of silicone on April 19, according to San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe.

Shortly after, Gourkani began experiencing health issues and died in the early hours of April 20 from a cardiac arrest, according to her family’s GoFundMe.

Gomez was apprehended at Florida's Fort Lauderdale Airport and will be extradited to Redwood City in San Francisco, per the publication.

Once she appears in court, she is expected to be charged with involuntary manslaughter and practicing medicine without a license resulting in great bodily injury.

Last month, Gourkani's heartbroken family started a fundraiser page to raise funds for her funeral. They shared a lengthy statement expressing their sadness and shock, as well as details of the moments leading up to the woman's death.

"It is with deep sorrow and an immensely heavy, broken heart that we have to share the most shattering, unfortunate and unexpected passing of our beautiful, beloved daughter and sister Christina Ashten Gourkani," her family wrote.

The emotional statement went on to describe the devastating moment someone called Gourkani's family at 4:30AM screaming "Ashten is dying, Ashten is dying!"

Their spokesperson then described the "living nightmare" of watching her health deteriorate in the hospital following her cardiac arrest and revealed that her sudden passing is currently being investigated as a homicide in connection with the cosmetic procedure.

The post then went on to applaud Ashten's kindness: "If you knew Ashten you knew that everyone mattered to her. She was such a caring and loving free spirit that always took the time to bring a smile to anyone's face she crossed paths with."

"She was the kind of person that would kneel down and talk to children at eye level, she searched for the lonely person in the corner and made them feel special as she has such a gift of connecting with people.

"On many occasions, I've seen her turn her [adversarie]s into life long friends just after 10 seconds of pouring her charismatic joy, positive energy, and her beautiful smile that she gave to those around her. Ashten's spirit is a light that will forever carry on to her loved ones around her and those that she has left behind."

Concluding the post, the Gourkani family shared their gratitude, writing: "Again we want to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for the continued support and generous words... your loving kindness, is our guiding light through the most difficult time of our lives."

As of this writing, $6,600 has been raised and a note under the fundraiser stated that the family is no longer accepting donations.
