The 26-year-old content creator, whose real name was Philip Enewally, was found unresponsive at his residence on March 14 and pronounced dead at 3:11PM by responding fire department personnel.

Initial reports from TMZ said he was discovered in a mailroom in Los Angeles County. His mother later confirmed the tragic news and asked for privacy while encouraging fans to visit his YouTube channel to honor his memory.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner revealed in a recent news release that Enewally sadly died from a sudden cardiac dysfunction caused by a rare heart condition.

The official cause of death was listed as “a sudden cardiac dysfunction due to solitary papillary muscle hypertrophy,” a subtype of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) - a typically genetic condition that enlarges the heart muscle and increases the risk of sudden fatal cardiac events. His death was ruled natural.

With nearly 4 million subscribers on YouTube, Enewally rose to fame through his high-energy content, including Fortnite and NBA 2K gameplay videos, Let’s Play walkthroughs, pranks, vlogs, and behind-the-scenes glimpses into his life.

Known affectionately as “P2,” his channel became a staple for millions over the past decade.

“Rip you were one of my favorite Youtubers growing up,” one fan wrote after the devastating news broke. Another tribute read: “Love you brotha. You played a key role in my childhood, days I’ll never forget. Rest easy king."

Fellow YouTuber COLETHEMAN shared his heartbreak on X: “My good friend @P2istheName has passed away… wow. I’m honestly at a loss for words. He was always so kind to me and gave me so much content creation advice. May he rest in peace. This breaks my heart."

Beyond content creation, Enewally was building a brand. He launched a production company, Iced Entertainment, and a clothing line, DontMindUs, which he often highlighted on his channel.

In one of his final videos titled “I Made My Own Clothing Brand and It Actually Worked”, Enewally grew emotional reflecting on his achievements.

“I'm trying not to cry right now. God is amazing, bro. God is amazing. [If y’all could only see] what it took to get here,” he said.

Later in the video, he added: “I literally was praying in the car for a beautiful drop, thanking God for even giving me the creativity to put this together.”

The late YouTuber had recently shared plans to relocate from Los Angeles to Atlanta, posting footage of himself packing up his belongings and shipping out final merchandise orders.

Our thoughts continue to be with his family and friends at this time.
