Grandma's hilarious gift to family after her funeral leaves social media in hysterics

A grandmother left social media users in hysterics after leaving behind a very special gift for her family.

Losing a loved one is never easy, but the wonderful memories we have of them can help the grieving process. Now, one grandmother has gone viral following her death thanks to the hilarious final gift she left behind for her family.

Taking to Twitter (now known as X), user Gracie Perryman shared an image of the unique gift along with the caption: "Received this at my [grandma's] funeral. What an icon."

Amazingly, her grandmother - who clearly had an incredible sense of humor - left behind a mini Ouija board, along with the message: "Let's keep in touch". The late grandmother also included a photo of her flipping the bird and sticking her tongue out.

The amazing post soon went viral after it was first shared in October 2022, amassing over 77,000 retweets and more than 692,000 'likes' on the social media platform.

Additionally, many other Twitter users flooded the post with their responses, praising the hilarious grandmother for her thoughtful gesture.

One person tweeted: "What a spectacular woman. I'm so sorry for your loss but she seems like she's going to be poking you through the veil. I'm a medium and it's true, they're everywhere. She will keep in touch."

And a second added: "I’m so sorry for your loss. My first reaction is that your grandma had a wonderful sense of humor, and her wanting to bring some light to the heaviness of grief is so sweet."

"Your grandma was a bad**s! I love this," wrote a third.

The post also went viral over on Reddit, with one user replying: "Wow. I really wish I’d known this woman when she was alive. Bet she was a goddamn firecracker."

Others also mentioned how they'll be doing the same for when they eventually pass, with one writing: "I hope your Grandma won’t mind if I steal this idea for when I go."

Another added: "Note to self: add this to my will so someone can send these out to friends and family."
