A man was horrified when a human finger appeared through his bathroom wall, pleading for help.
Being alone at home can often feel unnerving, even without anything sinister having happened before. Our imaginations tend to transform the smallest things into potential threats. Usually, these fears are mere illusions, but for these men, it became a horrifying reality.
Stories about hidden spaces in apartments, where walls or floors conceal secrets, are not uncommon. But for Jhonny and his partner, what they found was beyond bizarre.
Jhonny, who had recently moved to the U.S. from Venezuela, was at home when strange noises disrupted their peace.
A TikTok video captures their tense approach to the bathroom, with a caption reading (translated): "We hear voices and noises in the bathroom." One of the men cautiously opens the door, both fearing something otherworldly.
Upon entering, a man's voice is clearly audible, pleading, "please help me" and "let me out," as per the caption.
They notice a hole in the wall just above a towel rack. When one of the men moves closer, the sound of scraping and scuffling becomes evident.
Then, in a shocking twist, a finger covered in plaster and dust emerges from the hole, reaching out through the wall.
As if the plea for help wasn’t terrifying enough, the situation grew more bizarre. The men noticed another person on a motorcycle outside who entered the apartment from the side and left with a woman wearing a wig, as described in the video captions.
Realizing something was seriously wrong, they decided to call the police. When officers arrived, they found a chilling scene—eight people inside the flat, with the suspects claiming they had consumed 'substances.' Initially, the police treated it as a possible kidnapping, reported NBC Miami.
Miami Police Public Information Officer Mike Vega explained: “There was a towel that was wrapped around the handle, like holding the door shut."
Vega added that the individual admitted to fabricating a story under the influence of a drug-induced hallucination.
Further investigation revealed that the individuals were staying in an 'illegal vacation rental,' and following interviews with other residents, it became clear the situation was far from ordinary.
Jhonny, unfortunately, continues to face trouble from neighbors and has received threats, making him nervous about staying in the apartment.
Taking to social media, Jhonny shared the harrowing experience to raise awareness about the ordeal. The neighbor involved claimed that the people in the apartment were just friends, but the incident has left Jhonny shaken and wary of his surroundings.
