Noah’s Ark mystery deepens as researcher reveals bombshell new findings at unusual rock formations in Turkey
A breakthrough discovery in Turkey could provide significant evidence for the existence of Noah's Ark, according to new findings by a researcher.
Andrew Jones, a researcher with Noah’s Ark Scans, spoke to GB News about a strange rock formation located on Mount Ararat in Turkey, first identified in 1959.
The formation, which appears to be in the shape of a large boat, has prompted Jones and his team to conduct further research, and their findings suggest it may be the actual site of the Ark described in the Book of Genesis.
Jones shared with GB News that the team's research, which involved ground-penetrating radar scans and soil samples, has uncovered "corridors" beneath the surface.
These tunnels align with the dimensions of the Ark as described in ancient texts, specifically measuring 515 feet long. The team found what Jones referred to as an "atrium" at the center of the structure, with tunnels running along the inside edges of the formation.
Evidence supports idea of human construction
Further studies of the soil surrounding the site have revealed compelling evidence that the rock formation was intentionally shaped by human hands.
In 2024, Jones and his team collected 88 soil samples from both inside and outside the boat-shaped structure. The samples revealed that the soil inside the formation contained three times more organic matter and 38 percent more potassium compared to the surrounding area.
This indicates that the soil had been altered, possibly through human activity, suggesting that the structure was built deliberately.
The presence of ancient fossils and coral in the area further strengthens the theory that this location may have once been underwater. Jones noted that these finds align with the biblical description of the Great Flood.
He also added that the dimensions of the formation - measuring 300 Egyptian cubits - are consistent with the biblical account, reinforcing the hypothesis that this site could be the long-sought resting place of Noah’s Ark.
Exploring the tunnels with robotic technology
Jones and his team are now planning to explore the mysterious tunnels further with the help of a specially designed robotic device. This tool will allow them to remotely investigate the passageways and gather more detailed data.
As research continues, Jones remains optimistic that these new findings will bring them closer to confirming the existence of Noah’s Ark and the events described in the Bible.
