The official Instagram account of Pope Francis has apparently been caught liking yet another model's racy post.

According to screenshots shared by a Twitter user with the handle '@snyyrid', the account has seemingly liked an Instagram post made by OnlyFans adult model Margot Foxx, which shows her dressing up in a tight, black swimsuit.

The Twitter user captioned his post (which has since managed to accrue over 333,000 likes and over 31,000 retweets), "they caught the Pope in 4K again [sic]"

According to a report by The Daily Dot, Foxx, has since been forced to change the settings on her Instagram account to private, due to the sudden influx of attention the apparent 'like' has garnered her.

Foxx also took to Twitter to confirm that her photograph and account were apparently liked by the Pope's account, writing to her 33,000 followers: "hey, that's me. [sic]"

A number of other Twitter users have since reacted to the latest scandal, posting a number of image macros and memes lampooning the situation.

Back in November, the Pope's account previously provoked controversy after the head of the Catholic Church appeared to like an image posted by 27-year-old Brazilian model Natalia Garibotto.

Garibotto's racy post appeared to show the model wearing a revealingly-skimpy stereotypical "schoolgirl" costume, complete with an extremely-short red plaid skirt, suspenders, and a cropped white shirt.

According to the Catholic News Agency, the post was 'unliked' on November 14, after the news outlet asked the Holy See Press Office to comment on the incident.

Sources close to the Vatican press office told CNA that the pope's social media accounts are run by a team of employees and an internal investigation is underway to ascertain just how the 'like' happened.

The pontiff recently made headlines over his support of the LGBTQ+ community and gay marriage. Pope Francis stated:

"Homosexual people have the right to be in a family. They are children of God. Nobody should be thrown out or be made miserable over it.

"What we have to have is a civil union law; that way they are legally covered."
