Everyone hates getting their photo taken for school ID cards. Well, maybe not everyone, but I always hated it. There's always the chance you'll get a zit, or have a bad hair day, or your parents will force you to wear ugly clothes you'd never pick out on your own. And what about your expression? Closed-mouth smile? Toothy smile? What if you sneeze mid-way through the photo? Actually, that would be awesome. I would be proud of that photo.

Well, North Farmington High School in Farmington, Michigan does something awesome for school ID photo day: They encourage students to dress up in costumes. For these teenagers, Halloween comes twice a year, and they can pick whatever pop cultural icon they want - from movies, TV shows, video games, music, memes, the sky is the limit. It's a chance to express their personality, and take an ID photo they actually want other people to see. (Why doesn't the DMV do this?!) Here are the best costumes:

Michelle Tanner

Princess Leia

Baby Driver

Flo from Progressive

Colonel Sanders

The Suite Life of Zack and Cody

Rihanna

Jughead

Marty McFly

Good Burger

Veruca Salt

Elle Woods

Another Elle Woods. THERE CAN NEVER BE TOO MANY.

Rachel Green

Stephanie Tanner

Wayne & Garth

The Princess Diaries

The Amanda Show

Dwight Schrute

Dwight Schrute & Michael Scott

???

Helga

Ms. Frizzle

Wendy Williams meme

Cardi B meme

Matt Patricia

Kim Kardashian

Notorious R.B.G. (aka Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg)

And finally, a dad joke

If it were me, I'd go with Calvin from Calvin & Hobbes. Congratulations, teens. Those costumes are "on fleek" or "G.O.A.T." or "straight fire" or whatever.
