A woman has revealed that she decided to get her husband a girlfriend who looks exactly like her after she caught him cheating.

Now, all relationships have their ups and downs but there is just something that could completely end even the strongest of all couples: cheating.

Typically, when people have been cheated on, they tend to revert to three things; crying, revenge, or simply just moving on.

In rarer cases, people do try and stay together and work past it, but you have to be pretty generous with forgiveness to do so.

But one woman decided that she was going to go that one step further than just staying with her husband after he was unfaithful. She decided she was going to find him another "girlfriend" that looked like her so that he could "cheat" (but technically not cheat) whenever he wants.

Tehmeena and her husband Bryant had been together for over five years before they started having problems involving Bryant being disloyal. But rather than calling it quits, Tehmeena decided she was going to spice up their relationship by trying out polyamory.

"I feel like, when you are with a man, you should do whatever is required to make that work," Tehmeena told the Love Don't Judge YouTube channel, which is dedicated to exploring unique relationships.

And that's when they found Kyrah, a 29-year-old Australian who was happy enough to get involved with the twosome.

"When we started looking for a third partner, the best place to look was Bryant's Facebook because he just adds girls and girls and girls," she recalled. "I didn't understand it but now I do. Because now when he adds girls, I'm like, 'Oh, I like that one!'"

Tehmeena and Kyrah are almost identical, from their clothing all the way down to the little details like their eyelash extensions.

"I was looking for a woman that looked like me because Bryant likes that," Tehmeena shared. "It's definitely made us stronger, we're best friends. This is the missing link that I was trying to figure out."

However, despite Tehmeena's positive stance on the issue, social media users weren't convinced.

"As a woman, I will NOT do whatever to make a man happy. If he wants to be with other women, I don't want him," wrote one user while another added: "Based on her 'before' image, I think she changed her entire aesthetic for him as well."

A third described the situation as "sad."

"This is so sad. Polyamory does not fix cheating. Cheaters are going to cheat whether they are monogamous or polyamorous. They need individual and couple's therapy for their relationship to thrive. And I'm concerned for the girlfriend. When shit hits the fan, the 3rd usually gets dumped," they wrote.

Someone else stated that they could see the "sadness" in Tehmeena's eyes.

And this user said that there were "red flags on both sides" writing: "Being poly is okay. But being poly because your husband cheats is just a red flag on both sides lol."

Others even wished the throuple well.

"They all seem so sad and unfulfilled. I hope they can all find happiness."

Speaking of how she felt when the idea was proposed, she said: "I am not gonna lie. 150 percent, I did feel insecure when we started looking for a third. One of the reasons I wanted to be in a polyamorous relationship was I knew that it would also keep the attention of Bryant here.

She continued: "In the past Bryant hasn't been faithful and I feel like, if you are with a man you should do whatever is required to make that work.

"I want him for the rest of my life. Whatever he wants, whatever makes him happy, I will give it to him."

As the old saying goes: Each to their own!
