Chaos erupted on board a recent Spirit Airlines flight after a woman's meltdown was caught on camera.

In a clip shared to TikTok, a woman was seen being confronted by Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Officers, who tried to escort her off the plane.

However, the unidentified woman then began to behave erratically, pulling faces at the many cameras filming her, as the men held onto her hands.

She is heard telling them: "I can walk out on my own. Why are you doing that … Why are you acting like I’m a rascal? Let this go. Can I do that with freedom? All I care about is freedom!"

The footage, which was filmed on the tarmac before the plane took off from Las Vegas, also saw the woman being handcuffed by the officers, who told her she was under arrest, to which she replied: "That’s fine. I’ve been there before, I'm not scared."

The interaction then gets more dramatic as she yelled: "I’ve f**king been there before. This s**t hurts my elbow, it’s hurting my wrist. You’re hurting me, sheriff! You’re hurting me, sheriff," as she threw her head back and screamed multiple times.

After she suddenly lunged her head - with her mouth still open - towards the officers, one of them is seen putting his hand on her neck to move her away from them, at which point she screamed: "I can’t breathe. Why are you touching my leg."

She then repeated "I can't breathe", referring to George Floyd's dying words as a police officer knelt on his neck, before a flight attendant is heard telling other passengers that they will all need to get back off the airplane so that the woman can be removed.

The other passengers could be heard groaning loudly and telling the woman to get off the plane, before they were apparently all deplaned while the incident was dealt with.

While it has not been confirmed what sparked the shocking moment, the poster of the original video claimed in his comments: "What started this is that she tried to bit the person next to her." (sic)

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and Spirit Airlines have yet to comment on the incident.
