Fans around the world were shocked last year when it was revealed that Anna Faris and

. It was hard not to root for a couple that seemed to be so charming and went so well together, but unfortunately, the actress announced that they had parted ways back in August.

In a joint Facebook statement made at the time, they wrote:
"We tried hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed.
"Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward.
"We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another."
The couple met in 2007 when they were playing love interests in the movie Take Me Home Tonight and started to date shortly after. They became engaged the following year, and were married by 2009. They stayed together for a further eight years, having a child together in 2012. By 2017, they had split, which of course set the rumour mill rolling over whether they had left each other over another woman.

One of the popular theories was that this 'other woman' was
, who Pratt had bonded with over the production and promotional tour of their movie 'Passengers' last year.
While there didn't seem to be much to back this up, many believed it to be true, with all involved staying silent on the matter.
Eventually, however,
, when she spoke about how she expected the rumours to start as soon as they signed on to work together on the movie.
"Jennifer and I really are friendly, and she was apologetic even though she didn't need to be, because she hadn't done anything wrong," Faris wrote. "She's awesome, but of course it's hurtful and also embarrassing when people are saying your husband is cheating on you, even if it's patently untrue. You still feel, and look, like a fool."

Earlier this month, the news turned to actress
, who was reported to be dating Pratt.
The actors were known to be good friends for a number of years, but an anonymous source reported that the relationship had developed further, leaving Faris "furious".
"It started as a convenient rebound but blossomed into something very real and exciting," the source said. "Chris and Olivia have a genuine connection ... They both want to see where this goes." Munn has now addressed these rumours on Instagram, where she shared a text conversation she had with Faris, as well as some comments on the issue.
In addition to this screenshot, which she shared on her Instagram story, she also added some comments on the way it has been reported and how we think about break-ups and divorce.
"1. Not every woman is scorned and upset after a breakup.
2. Not every woman is ‘furious’ at another woman for dating her ex.
3. So even if I was dating @prattprattpratt, some tabloids got me and @annafaris all wrong.
4. Women respect and love each other a lot more than some people like to think.
5. Chris and I would have a horrible celebrity name: Crolivia, Prunn, Chrisivia, Olipratt."
To be fair, she's got a point with that celebrity name. Not everyone can have the super couple combination work out as well as 'Brangelina' or 'Bennifer'. Regardless, it seems that this latest rumour has been put to bed.
