Whenever we think of celebrity families, we probably assume they're a little bit spoiled. You only have to take one look at the sort of outfits the Kardashian kids wear and you know that just their shoes cost
more than a month's rent. And I'm pretty sure the price of Beyonce's kids' Christmas gifts could have covered my college tuition.
However, some wealthier families make a conscious effort not to overdo the holidays. Earlier this year,
revealed that they wouldn't be buying their children Christmas presents, and other celebrity parents have been known to make sure their kids get everything in moderation, too.
Most recently, singer-songwriter P!nk
shared a picture of her daughter Willow's Christmas list on Instagram, and it just shows how considerate and selfless she is.

If you know anything about Willow already, you'll probably be aware of
. Just like her mom, she seems to have a lot of self-confidence, and she certainly isn't afraid to be different.
As well as taking after P!nk in terms of her outspoken, rebellious attitude towards being "normal", the six-year-old is also really considerate of others.
Instead of writing a Christmas list to Santa, Willow penned a message of concern to Old Saint Nick:

Underneath the picture, P!nk
offered a translation for Willow's adorable little note:
"Santa, I am worried about Chippy, he has been in the same spot for 3 days. I don’t know why.”
From the picture on the bottom (and P!nk's
hashtag), it becomes clear that 'Chippy' is, in fact, the name of Willow's Elf on the Shelf. And why hasn't he moved? Well, P!nk
- whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore - forgot to move him.
For the Grammy Award-winner, this is a "MOM FAIL", but, to the rest of the internet, it's actually a sign that she's doing a really great job at parenting. Just think, how many other kids would use their message to Santa not to ask for presents, but to check on their little shelf-dwelling pal?

Earlier this year, P!nk
gave a speech in which she directly addressed Willow. The six-year-old had expressed concerns about how she looked and how other people perceived her, but P!nk was quick to quell her worries.
"When people make fun of me they say I look like a boy or I’m too masculine or I’m too outspoken. Do you see me growing my hair? Do you see me changing my body? Do you see my selling out arenas all over the world?" she said.
"Baby girl, we don’t change. We take the gravel in the shell and make a pearl. We help other people to change, so they can see all kinds of beauty."
Well, if you didn't
, this brief snapshot into her family life is sure to earn your respect. Sure, there are probably tons of kids out there who get spoiled on Christmas day, but at least some parents are still trying to teach their kids what really matters in life.
