An expert on UFOs has given us yet another thing to be concerned about as he claims extraterrestrials aren't going to come to Earth in peace.

Just in case you weren't panicked enough about the fate of our world due to the climate crisis, war, or maybe some sort of The Last Of Us pandemic... it appears aliens could also prove to be an issue.

Our species has long been intrigued by life in outer space as we constantly question whether or not we are alone in the Universe, and as sci-fi author Arthur C. Clark said: “Two possibilities exist: either we are alone in the Universe or we are not. Both are equally terrifying.”

If a UFO does come to earth and it proves to be a less-than-friendly encounter, perhaps being the only habitable planet in the Universe might not be a bad thing.

Malcolm Robinson is one of the UK's leading extraterrestrial specialists, having written over 10 books on the subject and doing in-depth research into possible UFO sightings.

The expert sat down with the Daily Star where he explained that although the majority of UFO experiences can be explained away, the small percentage of unanswerable encounters are what he and his colleagues attempt to crack.

He explains that alien life has been known to our species for much of our existence, as old cave drawings depict unexplainable encounters.

Robinson urged that there is reason to be concerned about intergalactic travelers. He said: "They have an agenda for sure, we can but speculate. I wouldn't say they are peaceful, due to the thousands of UFO abductions worldwide."

The expert said that he began studying UFOs at the age of 20, largely because he wanted to explain them away as he didn't believe in their existence, but has since come to understand that he was wrong.

Robinson continued to explain that aliens in movies and on TV aren't too far away from the physical appearances described by those who have allegedly encountered them.

"[These are] small childlike creatures, about 3 to 4 feet in height with bluey-grey translucent skin, large pear-shaped heads with inky black wrap-around eyes. No sign of any genitalia," he said.

"These small greys are the most commonly reported entities seen in close proximity to UFOs."

Let us be honest here - if a species has the capability of traveling between galaxies then we don't stand a chance against fighting them off if they mean us harm.

Maybe Donald Trump knew something we didn't when he created the Space Force...
