We all have a penchant for indulging in a bit of nostalgia from time to time; whether that's revisiting your favourite childhood movie or spending a little bit too long poring over old family photographs, you can't deny that it's great to feel like a child again.
As such, instead of hashtag-adulting, us grown men and women spend not insignificant amounts of time talking about our favourite song, or boyband from back in the day and cringing over the way we used to wear our hair and apply our eyeshadow. It's a lot of fun talking about all of the veritable sartorial disasters we had back in the day, I mean, who are you if you didn't wear butterfly clips in your hair as a teenage girl in the nineties?
One of my favourite pastimes, however, is to re-watch all of the movies which I loved as a teen. As a fan of the fantasy genre, the mid-to-late Noughties was a goldmine of delights. There was A series of Unfortunate Events, Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Family and of course, Pan's Labyrinth.
And just like us, our pre-pubescent crushes from these movies are all grown up. So let's indulge in a little nostalgia and see what they look like now, shall we?
