Some say that everyone has an exact double somewhere on this planet, maybe not across the street - but there could be one on the other side of the world. I'm not sure if I believe this, but, on occasion, you do come across
that require a second look. It can get pretty embarrassing at times, if you are waving to someone you believe to be a close friend, but turns out to be a complete stranger with the same set of eyebrows.

Looking for some of these
doppelgängers for a segment, ITV's This Morning put a call out on the Facebook asking for people to come forward if they look like (or know someone who looks like) a celebrity. The post read:
"Do you look uncannily similar to a celebrity? Maybe a member of the This Morning family is your doppelgänger? Leave your celeb lookalike pictures below!"
Now, one woman has come forward as a lookalike for Cheryl (aka Cheryl Tweedy aka Cheryl Cole aka Cheryl Fernandez-Versini). Sian Teesdale, from Swansea in Wales, has since gone viral, after people on the social media platform were overwhelmed by the similarity and spread the word across the internet.
Sian replied to the post saying: "So I get told I look like Cheryl Cole. I'm a big fan of her so I'm not complaining xxx".
Her comment has since had over 1.5k likes and 235 replies, with many users surprised by how close she was to the X-Factor judge. One commented: "My god, you are so similar to Cheryl! Absolutely beautiful Sian x", while another said: "Look like? No honey you're twins separated at birth."
There may be some room for Sian to be a professional lookalike in the future, helping the star out with the hoards of paparazzi and making money attending under name, given how well Cheryl's career is going as of late.
Coming a long way since her days in Girls Aloud, she's now had four solo albums, two books, and has taken part in a number of philanthropic ventures.

She also currently in a relationship with Liam Payne of One Direction, who she started dating in early 2016. In March last year, she gave birth to their son, who they named Bear.
However, Sian isn't the first
to cause ripples on the internet in recent times.
Amethyst Rose, an 18-year-old model from California went viral after looking exactly like

Her Instagram account has received plenty of attention, with over 58,000 followers. She uses the platform to spread body positive messages, capitalizing on the large audience her looks give her. It appears that there is a possible career in this after all, given how much people can make off sponsored Instagram posts nowadays - maybe this Cheryl lookalike has a shot at the big time after all.
