Humans are creatures of habit, and when we are at home, we are at our most comfortable. Knowing that no one is looking at us and that we are not under any of the pressures of society to behave in a certain way, we slip into our gross and sometimes bizarre habits. Whether it's talking to yourself, picking your nose or lounging around in your underpants, we're pretty gross things really. Below, are 10 of the worst things we do when we're at home, but that we'll never admit to.
1. Pee in the shower
We're all guilty of it. As long as it's going down the hole and not all over the bath it's fine, right?

2. Leaving leftovers
You forgot you had that Chinese in the fridge, didn't you? Well now it's mouldy and you don't want to face it. You'll do it another time, though.

3. Stray hairs everywhere
I don't know about yours, but my shower plug whole resembles a pet parlour rather than a bathroom.

4. Not throwing away sponges
Let's be honest here, your sponges make your plates dirtier rather than cleaning them.

5. Not washing towels

6. Eating things with our fingers

Spoons are such a nightmare to clean and water just goes everywhere, you may as well just wipe them with your t-shirt.

8. Re-using paper towels
If one side is a bit grubby, just flip it over or fold it - that should do the trick.

Don't lie to yourself - you are guilty of most of, if not all of these things. Next time you're at home and in your comfort zone, stop for a minute and look at what you're doing: you will gross yourself out.
