If you were married to Donald Trump for 15 years, subtlety is probably never going to be your strong point. But Ivana Trump really stuck the knife in and twisted it when it comes to her tell-all book Raising Trump, which details her childhood in Czechoslovakia, marriage to the now-President, messy divorce and subsequent years raising their children. Like all good embittered first wives, Ivana takes the occasional swipe at Donald, but saves particular venom for Marla Maples and Melania Trump, his second and third wives respectively. In the book, Ivana reveals that she first met Donald at a Manhattan restaurant where he picked up the tab for all of her friends, drove them back to the hotel then sent one hundred roses to her room. Before long, the two were married in a lavish ceremony and three children followed. But alas, it was not to last and their marriage broke down when Donald notoriously cheated on Ivana with Marla Maples, a model turned actress. And so the mud-slinging begins.  [[instagramwidget||https://www.instagram.com/p/BreUIQVAcm0/]] Ivana, who refers to Marla almost exclusively throughout Raising Trump as “the showgirl”, explains how she first became aware of their affair whilst visiting a ski resort in December 1989: "This young blonde woman approached me out of the blue and said 'I’m Marla and I love your husband. Do you?’” Although Ivana maintains her response was a polite, if not ladylike: "'Get lost. I love my husband", other sources remember a slightly more juicy version, as People magazine reported at the time: “Ivana confronted her, demanding, 'You bitch, leave my husband alone.' Trump, who was sitting within earshot putting on his skis, took off down the mountain. Wrong move: Ivana is an excellent skier; Donald is not. When the formidable Czech pushed off in hot pursuit, fascinated observers swear they saw her whip in front of Donald and then ski backwards down the slopes, wagging her finger in his face." [[instagramwidget||https://www.instagram.com/p/BaE5XsRjBEY/]] A messy, tabloid-fodder divorce followed, before Trump married Marla less than a year later and they had a daughter, Tiffany - which is apparently what Donald originally wanted to call Ivanka. They were divorced six years later. If you’re thinking “It’s okay, Ivana’s probably over it by now” then think again. The former Mrs Trump (No. 1) said of Marla's attempts to apologise to her via a Daily Mail interview: “[They] called to ask if I accepted the apology and I said, ‘Apology not accepted.’ This woman broke up my marriage and took away my kids’ father. I don’t care how sorry she is” before adding that she’s “doing just fine with my resentment, thank you very much.” Yet, despite all the sass poured on Marla, Trump’s third wife and current first lady Melania hasn’t escaped the wrath of Ivana either: "She can’t talk, she can’t give a speech, she doesn’t go to events, she doesn’t (seem to) want to be involved", she told the New York Daily Mail.  [[instagramwidget||https://www.instagram.com/p/Br_ToCVF0XH/]] She later apologised for these comments, although did more recently claim to be the real first lady, boasting of her influence on the most important man in America in an interview with Good Morning America. Apparently, not only does she have a private line to the White House, but avoids phoning him because: "I [don't] really want to call him there, because Melania is there," she said, referring the to first lady, "And I don't want to cause any kind of jealousy or something like that, because I'm basically first Trump wife. OK? I'm first lady." Not usually one to put out press statements, the actual First Lady hit back with a comment of her own: “Mrs. Trump has made the White House a home for Barron and The President. She loves living in Washington, DC and is honored by her role as First Lady of the United States. She plans to use her title and role to help children, not sell books. There is clearly no substance to this statement from an ex. Unfortunately only attention seeking and self-serving noise." Pull up a stool and make yourself comfy, because knowing Ivana Trump, this is one rivalry that won't be going away anytime soon.

Donald Trump has paid tribute to his ex-wife Ivana, who has sadly passed away at the age of 73.

Per BBC News, Ivana's family released a statement announcing her passing, saying: "Our mother was an incredible woman - a force in business, a world-class athlete, a radiant beauty, and caring mother and friend."

The statement continued: "Ivana Trump was a survivor. She fled from communism and embraced this country. She taught her children about grit and toughness, compassion, and determination.

"She will be dearly missed by her mother, her three children, and ten grandchildren."

Ivana was the first wife of former United States President Donald Trump, with the former couple being married from 1977 to 1992. They shared three children - Donald Trump Jr., 44, Ivanka Trump, 40, and Eric Trump, 38.

In a tribute to his late ex-wife on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump described Ivana as "a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman".

The former POTUS continued: "I am very saddened to inform all of those that loved her, of which there are many, that Ivana Trump has passed away at her home in New York City. She was a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman, who led a great and inspirational life."

He added: "Her pride and joy were her three children, Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric. She was so proud of them, as we were all so proud of her. Rest In Peace, Ivana!"

As reported by ABC News, the FDNY says that Manhattan paramedics responded to a call at an Upper East Side apartment where Ivana Trump lived just after 12:30PM on Thursday (July 14). It has been reported that responders found a 73-year-old woman suffering from cardiac arrest.

Although Ivana was Donald's first wife, she had previously married Alfred Winklmayr - an Austrian ski instructor and her platonic friend - back in 1971.

Their marriage was a means of obtaining Austrian citizenship with Ivana being recognized as a defector of her home nation, Communist Czechoslovakia. This would mean she could still return to her home country to visit her parents.

Following their divorce in 19723 Ivana would move to Canada, where she would eventually become a model - a career move that led to her meeting future husband Donald Trump in New York City.

Ivana worked for years in Trump's business empire, first as vice president of interior design, and later as president of the Trump’s Castle casino resort in Atlantic City.

Following her marriage to Donald Trump, Ivana would go on to marry Italian entrepreneur and businessman Riccardo Mazzucchelli from 1995 to 1997, and Italian actor and model Rossano Rubicondi, whom she was married to from 2008 to 2009.

However, following their divorce, Trump and Rubicondi continued an on-and-off-again relationship up until 2019. Rubicondi died two years later.

Donald Trump reportedly "pursued" Princess Diana romantically, but she responded with a blunt five-word reply.

The President's romantic life is anything but private.

He married Ivana Trump in 1977, staying with her for over a decade until his affair with model Marla Maples came to light.

After finalizing his divorce in 1990, he continued his relationship with Maples, welcoming daughter Tiffany in 1993 and marrying Marla later that year.

But the marriage only lasted three years before they separated in 1997, citing differing world views.

It was during his second divorce that Trump met Slovenian-American model Melania Knauss at a New York City party in 1998.

He proposed to Melania at the Met Gala in 2004, and they married in 2005 in Palm Beach, Florida, making her both his third wife and the future First Lady.

And, of course, there’s Stormy Daniels, the adult film actress who claimed she had a one-night stand with Trump in 2006.

Trump was later found guilty of 34 felony counts tied to a $130,000 hush money payment made to Daniels ahead of the 2016 Presidential Elections.

But Trump once admitted to having “one regret in the women department.”

Writing in his 1997 book The Art of the Comeback, he confessed: “I never had the opportunity to court Lady Diana Spencer," per the Daily Mail.

“I met her on a number of occasions,” he continued. “I couldn't help but notice how she moved people. She lit up the room with her charm, her presence. She was a genuine princess – a dream lady.”

Reportedly, Trump saw Diana as his “ultimate trophy wife” after her divorce from Prince Charles in 1996.

Former BBC journalist and Diana’s friend, Selina Scott, recalled in The Sunday Times how Trump sent huge bouquets of flowers to Diana’s Kensington Palace home, a tactic he had previously used when wooing Ivana.

“Trump clearly saw Diana as the ultimate trophy wife,” Scott wrote. “As the roses and orchids piled up at her apartment she became increasingly concerned about what she should do. It had begun to feel as if Trump was stalking her.”

Over dinner, Diana confided in Scott: “‘What am I going to do?" she asked.

She then uttered five awkward words: "He gives me the creeps.”

Scott added: “‘Just throw them in the bin,’ I advised. Diana laughed.”

She went on: “When she died in Paris in 1997, Trump [reportedly] told friends his biggest regret was that they hadn’t dated.

“He said that he always thought he had a chance of romance and would have had a ‘shot’ with her.”

In a Howard Stern interview in 2000, Trump doubled down, saying he would have slept with Diana “without even hesitation.”

He ranked Diana third on his top ten hottest women list, placing her just after Ivana and Melania.

Remembering the “People’s Princess,” Trump described her as “crazy” but brushed it off as “a minor detail.”

“I tell you what, I think she’s magnificent,” Trump said. “Lady Di was truly a woman with great beauty.

“I’ve seen her a couple of times. She was really beautiful, and people didn’t realise she was that beautiful. She was supermodel beautiful.

“She had the height, she had the beauty, she had the skin, the whole thing.”

Despite these remarks, Prince William managed to remain diplomatic during his meetings with Trump, including during the state visit in 2019, the re-opening of Notre Dame in 2024, and the funeral of Pope Francis in 2025.

Of all the demographics of people that Donald Trump has managed to offend during his time in office, women have to be the biggest one. He's tried very hard to tick off LGBTQ folks and people of color but - after being accused of assault by 20 women, outed as a philanderer by a porn star and a Playboy model, and exposed as a misogynist after his "grab them by the p***y" comments came to light - the president has truly excelled in his alienation and objectification of women. Most of these things were known about before Trump even announced that he was running for office, but, more recently, new allegations about affairs he's had while married to Melania have made the press. And, understandably, the first lady has seemed a little more distant from her husband than usual in the past few weeks. But allegedly she isn't the first wife that The Donald has cheated on. In 1985, when Trump was still married to his first wife, Ivana, the president had a meeting with businessman Peter de Savary. The pair had arranged to meet for lunch in order to discuss a prospective partnership and, while de Savary had come accompanied by his wife, Trump turned up alone. While there, de Savary says, the former Apprentice host made an excuse to leave the meeting - but he lied about where he was going.

"Halfway through the lunch he [Trump] says: 'Excuse me, I’ve got a very important conference call to make,' and he disappears," de Savary said. "Then, a minute later, Lana, my wife, says: 'I need to go to the loo.' She comes back very rapidly, ashen-faced."

This prompted de Savary to ask what was the matter, to which his wife responded: "I took the second on the left as you said, and the girl who was serving us lunch had her skirt up and Trump was having sex with her in the corridor." When he returned, de Savary acted as if he had no idea what had happened. Instead, he carried on discussing his business proposition with Trump, and "naively" told him his entire idea for what to do with Mar-a-Lago. Trump said he liked it, and the pair would work 50-50 on the project. Months later, however, de Savary called Trump to follow up on their agreement - but the president had backtracked on what he'd said. “Peter, I loved everything you said, absolutely fantastic — I’m doing it all myself,” Trump apparently said. De Savary felt betrayed by this, and continues to resent Trump to this day. "That’s the man you have as a president," he said. "Takes 'conference calls' and doesn’t respect a handshake." Trump and Ivana eventually divorced in 1992 after he had an affair with actress Marla Maples. The president then went on to marry Maples, but that marriage also ended in divorce just six years later. So far, the White House has denied all assault allegations against Trump, and has stated that the claims of affairs from Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal are "fake news". They have yet to address the claims made by de Savary.

Ivana Trump, Donald Trump's first wife, claims that her ex-husband isn't a good loser and needs to "declare that he lost" the 2020 US presidential election.

In an interview with People Magazine on Monday, 71-year-old Ivana Trump (the mother of Donald Jr, Ivanka, and Eric Trump) opened up about her feelings on her husband's projected loss of the election.

CNN anchor Anderson Cooper recently stunned TV viewers with this brutal attack of Trump:

In the interview in question, Ivana stated: "I just want this whole thing to be over with, one way or the other. I really don’t care."

She also stated: "He’s not a good loser. He doesn’t like to lose, so he’s going to fight and fight and fight."

Ivana also spoke about how he three children with the incumbent president have reacted to his administration, stating:

"I just want them to be able to live their normal lives — normal lives. Not the Washington life and all that, just in New York or wherever they’re going to be and just live their normal lives.

"I think they enjoyed being around Donald and running the election and seeing what will happen, but now it is — thank god — over. I’m not really sure what they are going to be up to."

When asked what comes next for her ex-husband, Ivana seemed to believe that he was finished with politics, stating:

"He’s going to go down to Palm Beach and play golf and live the normal life, I think. This is the best choice for what he can do.

"But first, he would have to face reality. He has to go and declare that he lost.

"But he hates to be a loser, that I’m sure of. But if he loses, he loses. He has plenty of money, places to go and live in and enjoy his life."

Democrat candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden was projected by multiple news and media outlets to become the 46th president of the United States on Saturday, November 7.

As of the time of writing, CNN projects that Joe Biden has received 279 electoral votes and a total of 76,166,191 public votes and that Donald Trump has received 214 electoral votes with a total of 71,534,093 public votes.

However, Donald Trump has contested the projections, and has even alleged voter fraud on the part of the Democrats, intending to pursue legal action against the ballot count.
