Company will pay you £3000 to go on holiday with your dog

Going on the vacation of your dreams with your pet in tow is normally not really a realistic proposition.

Indeed, many dog owners actually forgo going on holiday altogether without their faithful pup being able to accompany them, rather than leave them in kennels or being looked after by other friends or family.

Sure, you can book a cottage or apartment that allows pets, but oftentimes they're hard to find and can add a considerable amount to the cost of the vacation.

But what if there was another way? What if you could have the vacation you want, with your most trusted ally and confidant by your side?

Well, you'll be pleased to know that, now, there is another way for some lucky pet owners.

That's because holiday website Snaptrip is on the hunt for two dogs with exquisite taste to review a number of their properties, all expenses the paid. The two lucky pups will be given the prestigious title of 'Furrfluencer'.

Their website sets out the proposition thus;

"We’re looking for two dogs with exquisite taste and an eye for detail, to travel with their owners to our dog-friendly properties in locations like Cornwall, Wales and the Lake District. Once they arrive, we’d like them to review them in terms of how suitable they are for dogs.

"Our chosen Furrfluencer’s will visit ten of our properties over 12 months, all expenses paid, making sure to enjoy everything the property and local area has to offer, so that a detailed review can follow, complete with fantastic photography. (Obviously this review will be written up by each pup’s human counterpart.)

"Not only will our chosen pups get to travel the UK and stay in some amazing properties free of charge, but we’re also offering a £300 per review salary!"

Snaptrip states that each review must be a minimum of 500 words, and should judge each property on the following criteria: "dog practicality, access to local walks and dog-friendly establishments like pubs and garden spaces."

The all important entry criteria is as follows;

  • Must be comfortable travelling
  • Must be either 6 months to 3 years old or 4 years to 10 years old
  • Must be in good health
  • Must be comfortable in front of the camera and photogenic
  • Must have an eye for detail and impeccable taste
