There's nothing better than scrolling the internet only to find a cute doggo, but what's even better is when that doggo has an unusual look that truly captures your attention.

Case in point: this dachshund with a spotted body that makes him look like he's half Dalmatian.

Aptly named Moo, he's only seven months old, but he already has an impressive 13.7K followers on Instagram, where his owner Victoria Hoffman shares pictures of their life together in Miami, Florida.

Watch Moo's adorable coat as he sleeps below:

The reason Moo looks more like a tiny Dalmatian than a dachshund puppy is because he has what's known as piebald fur.

This occurs when an animal's coat has unpigmented white spots on a pigmented background and it typically covers the majority of their body.

Twenty-four-year-old Victoria said that when people first see Moo, their first assumption is that he is wearing some sort of coat or jumper, but as these adorable pictures demonstrate, his unusual look is 100% natural.

... Even if poor Moo's body doesn't quite match his head!

Victoria said that because of his unusual look, Moo gets a lot of reactions when he's out and about, but his funny personality also gets him a lot of attention too.

In fact, Moo is so popular with strangers that he and Victoria are frequently stopped on the street and asked for photos.

Victoria, who is employed by a skincare beauty company, said that it's not just her pooch's coat that's unique looking, but his personality is one-of-a-kind too!

She said some of Moo's favorite pastimes are hoarding his toys in the same spot (each to their own), eating his favorite treats which are almonds and watermelon, and taking naps on his back under his bed.

Victoria said that thanks to Moo, she's never bored or lonely.

The coronavirus pandemic has made life for everyone difficult in 2020, and Victoria said that Moo has been putting much-needed smiles on her and her boyfriend's faces.

They had been wanting a dachshund for a long time, and they finally bit the bullet and got Moo because the coronavirus pandemic meant that they would be spending a lot of time at home.

She said he's the silver lining to this hard time.

If you'd like to keep up with Moo, you can follow him on Instagram.
