The footage was captured by young mother Rebecca Laurie, and shows the gross moment a man chooses to wash his dog's dirty bum with a public drinking water fountain, the Daily Mail reports.

Laurie spotted the stomach-churning scene at Rushcutters Bay Park in Sydney's east. The mom says she was enjoying a morning with her family, when she suddenly spotted the man.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, Laurie said that her daughter loves the bubbler and often uses it when they visit the park. She revealed that several people shouted at the man to stop, but he carried on unfazed:

"It is completely disgusting, not to mention a health risk, I am sure people who (haven't seen the video) are using that bubbler today.

"Six or so people including myself told him, he did not care in the slightest and actually made the comment that we don't drink from the bowl of the bubbler.

"It is completely disgusting, not to mention a health risk, I am sure people who (haven't seen the video) are using that bubbler today."

Per Yahoo News, the mom uploaded the footage to Facebook on Saturday, and people in the comments section described the man's actions as "beyond revolting" and "completely disrespectful".
