Snapchat filters have long been an instant source of enjoyment for humans - but now dogs are getting in on the action.

The popular social media app has released a new filter that overlays adorable cartoon eyes onto your pooch to make them look straight out of a Disney movie.

Taking to the beloved Facebook group Dogspotting Society, one dog owner alerted all other pet owners, writing: "For those that don't know... Snapchat has a new filter and it basically Disneyfies your dog. YOU ARE WELCOME. Plz post your Disney dawgs here."

Now, dog owners have been flooding social media with their pups looking like extras from Oliver And Company.
