Per Bored Panda, Turkish people are known for their "love and respect for stray animals", often leaving food out for animals living on the street. In this instance, the hospital staff were happy to provide the cats with any help possible.

Turkish media reports that medics were quick to intervene and checked the kitten for obvious health issues. The mother cat reportedly followed her kitten around and did not let it out of her sight.
T24 reports that while the baby was being examined, staff gave her mother some milk and food in an effort to make her more comfortable.
Reports note that following a check-up, both cats seemed fine, but were still directed to a vet just to be sure that the mother and kitten were indeed in good health.
The story soon made its way onto Reddit, where it has received 83K upvotes from users in two days. Several Redditors also took to the comments section to praise the medics for helping the mother cat.
One person wrote: "In Turkey, stray cats and dogs are like everyone's pet. You can see food and water for these friends on every corner. Cats are welcome to sleep and live in mosques etc. It's a beautiful place for stray animals."
While another added: "Cat knows where to get help. This is heartwarming."
