A rescue dog whose matted fur left him barely able to walk because has become Internet famous after a life-changing haircut.
The poor 11-year-old stray Shih Tzu also struggled to see because his eyes were covered by the overgrown hair.
When he was taken to the KC Pet Project in Kansas, his fur had turned a dark brown colour and the teeny pooch weighed a whopping 20lbs because of the excess hair.
However, after a very careful trim by a vet, the gorgeous dog, who is now called Simon, looks unrecognizable and has a huge weight off him in the most literal sense as he's 6lbs lighter!
Simon's transformation was subsequently posted to TikTok where it went viral and has received over 30.5 million views.

Watch Simon's incredible transformation below:A voiceover on the clip revealed that it took two hours to cut off Simon's excess matted fur, but thankfully, his skin was in good condition despite him suffering such extreme neglect.
Reacting to the footage, one TikTok user wrote: "His owners should be arrested."
A second wrote: "I can't imagine the relief he felt."
