As of the most recent situation report from the World Health Organization, there has been 167,511 confirmed cases of COVID-19 around the world, and the number of deaths as a result of the disease has now reached 6,606. These numbers continue to grow by the hour.
In response to the global pandemic, many workplaces have ordered that their staff work from home if possible (including myself - hello from my couch).
As many fo us are realizing, life WFH means we can all be closer to our creature comforts. We can poop in peace on our own toilet. We have constant access to our own fully stocked fridges. And there's no HR around to tell me to put pants on.
But most importantly, we can be around our beloved pets 24/7. However, despite the rather unforeseen working conditions, many pet owners are finding their new furry coworkers somewhat distracting.
So, if you're WFH, self-isolating, or in full-on quarantine, let us take your mind off the worldwide chaos for just a minute, and let these adorable furry coworkers put a smile on your face.
