Gigi Hadid have taken the modelling world by storm of late. Not only have the two most definitely won the genetic lottery, but they're also making waves in the A-lister unit too. Yes, the pair can often be spotted hanging out with the so-called "cool cats", including Kendall and
Kylie Jenner,
Justin Bieber and, of course, the now disbanded members of One Direction.
However, it appears that the two may have some competition: namely their 18-year-old Dutch born cousin, Joann Van Den Henrick who has just signed as a plus size model with the London based 12+ UK Model Management.

Joann is the daughter of Yolanda Hadid's brother, renowned businessman Leo Van Den Henrik. And whilst Joann seems to be closest to her 21-year-old cousin Bella, it's Gigi that she shares a rather striking resemblance with. I mean, just check out those luscious blonde locks!
Joann, who is a UK size 12, has caught the attention of social media by posting honestly on platforms such as Instagram about her struggles with body confidence. Certainly, she recently posted a snap of her posing in lingerie, and admitted to feeling "afraid" about posting it. But her 31,000 followers proved to be nothing but supportive.

"I wanted to show you guys that I'm imperfect too. I have fatrolls, I have stretch marks," the aspiring model wrote. "It's so easy to look in the mirror and feel disgusted by the things you don't like, but I don't want to do that anymore":
"I don't wanna hide my "ugly" side, I want to show it more often, because I've accepted it."
And in a YouTube video, Joann elaborated on her struggles with self-acceptance and her journey towards body positivity:
"I've been feeling bad about myself for a long time. This isn't how it's supposed to be.
Girls and boys are not supposed to feel this way. You have to wear what you like, you have to eat what you want. If you love yourself it doesn't matter what other people think."

Joann is the latest of the Hadid clan to embrace the modelling industry, alongside her famous cousins, Bella and Gigi. The sisters' younger brother, 18-year-old, Anwar Hadid, also started modelling recently, and he has already graced the catwalks of Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger.
Joann has always been close with her famous cousins and often takes to Instagram to congratulate them on their many achievements. She recently celebrated 22-year-old Gigi Hadid's second Vogue cover, writing on Instagram "You never cease to amaze me." And for Bella's 21st birthday, she said "You're spreading your light and happiness around everyone you meet and I'm so proud that I get to call a hardworking, kind, loving, beautiful person like you my cousin!!"

Well, we wish Joann the best of luck with her modelling career, but based on her genetics alone, we don't think she's going to have any trouble whatsoever...
