A month before the presidential election, Jimmy Fallon invited Donald Trump to be a guest on The Tonight Show. Fallon's show is known for lip sync battles, beer pong and charades, so nobody expected a hard-hitting interview. However, one moment rankled some viewers. The host did a bit where he messed up Trump's bizarre roadkill-meets-birds-nest hair. Trump supporters found the segment endearing, but Trump critics were horrified. To them, Fallon 'normalized' a controversial political candidate who made many offensive comments.
In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Fallon revealed that he regrets tousling Donald Trump's hair. "I did not do it to 'normalize' him or to say I believe in his political beliefs or any of that stuff," said Fallon. "I’m sorry. I don’t want to make anyone angry — I never do and I never will. It’s all in the fun of the show. I made a mistake. I’m sorry if I made anyone mad. And, looking back, I would do it differently."

Well, hindsight is 2020. There are more offensive things in the world than Fallon messing up a real estate tycoon's hair - like, say, the 2,000 children cruelly separated from their parents at the U.S.-Mexico border. It's unlikely a hair tousle changed anyone's mind. Plus, as Seth Meyers told CNN, Jimmy is an entertainer. Some people don't watch talk shows for politics. They watch talk shows to escape from politics. Who could stay mad at Jimmy Fallon, the puppy dog of late night?

The answer, evidently, is Donald Trump. The president took a break from his busy schedule of golfing and making false accusations about restaurants he's never visited to respond to Jimmy Fallon's interview. He tweeted that Jimmy should stop "whimpering" and "be a man." (And yes, he brags about the yuuuge ratings.)
".@jimmyfallon is now whimpering to all that he did the famous “hair show” with me (where he seriously messed up my hair), & that he would have now done it differently because it is said to have “humanized” me-he is taking heat. He called & said “monster ratings.” Be a man Jimmy!"

Out of all the late night talk show hosts to start a feud with, it's odd Trump would single out Fallon. Colbert, Kimmel, Meyers and co. say much harsher things about him on a nightly basis. Also, there's nothing wrong with saying you regret something, and made a mistake. Many people consider that an admirable quality, especially in world leaders.

Well, Fallon took the high road with his response. He tweeted, "In honor of the President’s tweet I’ll be making a donation to RAICES in his name." (RAICES is The Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Service, a nonprofit organization that promotes justice by providing free and low-cost legal services to underserved immigrant children.)
Fallon's ratings have fallen since the hair-messing debacle, but he rose to the occasion here.

On Monday, President Trump spoke at a rally in South Carolina, and went on a rant about late night talk show hosts. These shows have always mocked the president, but apparently their jokes have gotten under his skin. He called Jimmy Kimmel "terrible." He referred to Stephen Colbert as "that guy on CBS" and described him as a "lowlife." And he said Jimmy Fallon "looks like a lost soul." (Previously, he told Fallon to "stop whimpering" and "be a man" on Twitter.)
"The guy on CBS, what a lowlife. I mean honestly, are these people funny?" asked Trump. The crowd responded with a loud "nooo!" The president continued, "And I can laugh at myself. Frankly if I couldn't, I'd be in big trouble. But there's no talent. They're not like talented people. Johnny Carson was talented. I mean this guy on CBS, has no talent."

Last night Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Colbert and Conan O'Brien teamed up to record a comic response to Trump's insults. In the pre-taped segment, Colbert sits at his desk writing a monologue, and gets a video call from Fallon. "Hey lowlife," says Fallon. "Hey lost soul," says Colbert. When they ask what each other is up to, Colbert says he's "busy having no talent." Fallon says he's "mostly whimpering. "Be a man," advises Colbert.
[[twitterwidget||https://twitter.com/colbertlateshow/status/1011755543218671616]]
They go on to discuss the President Trump, claiming they haven't seen his rally. "I heard he said we’re all no-talent, lowlife, lost souls," says Fallon. "Well, that's not right. That's Conan," replies Colbert. He goes on to bring Conan O'Brien into the video. The pasty white TBS host is half-naked, in the middle of shaving, and doesn't have any idea what is going on in the world. "Donald Trump? The real estate guy who sells steaks? He’s president?" asks Conan.
At the end of the sketch, they agree to have lunch at Red Hen, the restaurant in Virginia that turned away White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
[[youtubewidget||https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YxoEXO-htKg]]
In the rare event, the segment was used as the cold open for both The Tonight Show and The Late Show, which air on different networks. According to CBS This Morning, Colbert came up with the idea for the sketch, and pitched it to Fallon. The Tonight Show host quickly agreed. Conan was on hiatus for the week, but also agreed to participate. (Jimmy Kimmel was on vacation this week, so was unavailable.)
Well, President Trump's polarizing polices are dividing the nation, but at least he's bringing the late night show hosts together.
[[youtubewidget||https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kWygX0Q1Rhk]]
In Colbert's monologue, he mocked Trump's rally speech some more. He pretended that "the guy on CBS" Trump referred to was Late Late Show host James Corden. Then he claimed Trump was "afraid" to say his name, because he was born in South Carolina, and is a "favorite son." Also, Colbert digs up a clip of Johnny Carson mocking Trump in his opening monologue! You'd think Trump would be able to take a joke after being mocked on late night talk shows for decades.

Donald Trump's ongoing rivalry with Jimmy Kimmel isn't showing any signs of slowing down.
Although the 56-year-old didn't have the smoothest of evenings hosting the 96th annual Academy Awards -- with jokes like the ones about Robert Downey Jr. falling flat -- one moment that did receive praise was when Kimmel responded to criticism from former POTUS Donald Trump.
Toward the end of the evening, Kimmel took to the stage at Hollywood’s Dolby Theater to reveal that one certain viewer had shared some scathing words about his presenting skills on Truth Social.
Check out the moment below:
And rather than shy away from Trump's comments, Kimmel instead decided to read out the 77-year-old's post in-full to the global audience. Trump's full post can be read below:
"Has there EVER been a WORSE HOST than Jimmy Kimmel at The Oscars. His opening was that of a less than average person trying too hard to be something which he is not, and never can be. Get rid of Kimmel and perhaps replace him with another washed up, but cheap, ABC 'talent,' George Slopanopoulos. He would make everybody on stage look bigger, stronger, and more glamorous. Also a really bad politically correct show tonight, and for years - Disjointed, boring, and very unfair. Why don’t they just give the Oscars to those that deserve them. Maybe that way their audience and TV ratings will come back from the depths. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"
After reading Trump's post in full, Kimmel then asked the room: "See if you can guess which former president just posted that on Truth Social."
And, after thanking the former president for watching the show, Kimmel quipped: "Isn’t it past your jail time?" - a shot at the former president's recent legal troubles.
Although many viewers praised Kimmel for his response, it looks like Donald Trump did not see the funny side, and he once again took aim at the Late Night host during a conversation with Fox News host Howard Kurtz on Sunday.
Despite being called out on the Oscars stage, Trump still saw the moment as a victory.
"[Kimmel] probably, stupidly, you know, he had to, he had to act in a short period of time, like minutes, right? He had minutes because he’s on air, he sees this thing and he wants to go out there and he wants to, I guess, confront me and so and he ends up reading my [Truth Social post]," Trump said.
"I said, ‘This guy’s even dumber than I thought.’ The thing went viral, it’s been all over the world now, and all he had to do is keep his mouth shut."
In a later interview with Variety, Oscars show producer Molly McNearney ― who just so happened to also be Kimmel’s wife ― revealed that she had attempted to stop her husband from reading Trump's post out to the world.
Saying that her "instincts are usually right," McNearney admitted that she "was totally off on that" when she saw the praise Kimmel received for addressing the former POTUS.

Donald Trump has been one of the biggest trolls on Twitter, making blatantly false statements, retweeting offensive content from hate groups and lashing out at his enemies with childish insults. His tweets are admittedly entertaining, but often disturbing, coming from the President of the United States. (I mean, I can't imagine President Obama ever tweeting "WITCH HUNT!!!")
However, Chuck Williams, a former Walt Disney sculptor, has taken the "internet troll" concept as inspiration. We're all familiar with Troll Dolls, a hallmark of childhood for every 80's kid and 90's kid. Well, Chuck used his sculpting skills to create a naked Donald Trump Troll Doll that is hilarious - and anatomically correct.
The doll sports Trump's radioactive, pumpkin-orange skin, as well as his swoopy, haystack-yellow hair. The facial expression bears his trademark petulant pout, as if he just walked into the same elevator as Hillary Clinton. One of his tiny hands clutches a cell phone, ready for another productive morning of delusional rage-tweeting. During a GOP presidential debate in 2016, Trump famously bragged about the size of his junk, claiming he "guarantees he has no problem." The Troll Trump appears to have a bit of a problem in that area. But hey, Michaelangelo's David wasn't exactly well-endowed either, so he's in good company.
Chuck launched a Kickstarter campaign to crowdfund mass production of the Donald Trump Troll Doll. Within a week, he already surpassed his target of $38,000, raising an incredible $438,737 to bring the project to life. The project had 9,417 backers, although it is unclear how many of them are Russian bots.
Whether you're a Trump supporter or a Trump critic, everyone's getting a kick out of the doll. "This figure is near and dear to me," writes Chuck on the campaign description. " And thankfully it seems to have brought a smile to all sides of the political spectrum. The response has taken me a little by surprise!! I am very grateful to have made so many people happy with this sculpture."
In the update section, Chuck says the dolls are currently shipping. So if you'd like to purchase one, just visit Chuck's website to place an order. The figure costs $25, stands 4.75" tall, and the cell phone is removable. Obviously, since the doll is naked, it is meant for mature audiences only and is not safe for work. Perhaps in the future Chuck will create accessories, like a business suit, a red Make America Great Again baseball cap, a golf cart, a McDonald's meal, a wall, a swamp, a prison cell. The possibilities are endless.
Everyone hates internet trolls, but everyone loves Troll Dolls. The president's unique physical features translate pretty well to a cartoonish toy. All the Donald Trump Troll Doll needs is a friend. Maybe next he'll create Validmir Putin, and offer both dolls in a special "Colludin' BFF's" Box Set.

People are calling for Barron Trump to take up basketball after learning that the teenager is a towering six-foot-seven-inches tall.
After the Twitter page UberFacts - an account dedicated to sharing random but interesting facts - revealed to its 13.6 million followers that 15-year-old Barron Trump is 6ft7", people couldn't help but be impressed.
"Barron Trump is 6'7" — over a foot taller than the average 15-year-old," the tweet read, alongside a recent image of the teenager walking tall next to mom and former first lady, Melania.
Per the New York Post, Melania stands at 5-foot-11-inches.
Since being shared on Thursday, the post has amassed over 2,000 retweets and more than 9,000 'likes'.
Replying to the fact, one Twitter user wrote: "Okay. If I’m 6’7 at fifteen, I’m making every effort to be a collegiate or pro basketball player. That’s just me."
A second added: "This kid should play basketball and take advantage of his height and name."
To which a third replied: "For real. If he’s somewhat mobile and has a few post moves he’d make a lot of professional teams."
Another replied: "The crazy thing is, is that he's gonna keep growing until he is about 20. So we might be looking at the next @SHAQ [Shaquille O'Neal] here..."
"Nothing would make me happier than Barron Trump leading an underdog team to an NBA Championship in a few years," another Twitter user wrote.
"Barron Trump being an NBA player is my dream crossover," joked another.
Barron's dad, former POTUS Donald Trump, stands at 6-foot-three-inches, and last month, joked about the height of his children at a GOP event in North Carolina.
"Barron is 6-foot-7, can you believe it? And he’s 15," Trump said, before quipping: "Eric is short — he’s only 6-foot-6."
In response to UberFact's tweet, one Twitter user echoed the sentiments of many others, and wished the teenager all the best for the future.
"I really hope that his height will deter bullies from acting out. With all the hatred in society for his parents I can't imagine how difficult some cruel kids make it. I sincerely wish him the best," they wrote.
Whatever the teenager chooses to do with his life in the future, you've got to believe he'll make a success of it!
