Bam Margera took to social media to show off his new tattoo that he got in honor of his son.

The Jackass star decided to get his little boy's name in Arabic tattooed directly on his face, just above his right eyebrow.

Speaking to TMZ, the tattoo artist Gray Wake, said that the 43-year-old came into Tribal Roots Tattoo Studio in Escondido, California with a friend last week.

Wake told the outlet that he instantly recognized Margera because he grew up watching the Jackass series, but initially had no idea that he was going to be coming in.

It was reported that Margera wanted his son's name, Phoenix, tattooed right above his eyebrow, and he wanted it written in the Arabic language.

He even came into the store prepared with a design on his phone and all the artist had to do was aid with the overall placement and get the job done.

Wake also revealed that he also got a small tattoo on his hand.

Upon seeing the artwork properly on his official Instagram account, fans expressed their concern at Margera's permanent decision.

One user commented: "So sad. Praying for him!"

"Face tattoos never good idea..." Added another.

The news of the new tat comes shortly after the 43-year-old's wife Nikki Boyd filed for legal separation in February after what was described to be a "non-sober" visit with their son.

As per PEOPLE, court documents cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for separation, listing their official breakup date as Sept. 14, 2021.

At the time, Boyd's attorney David Glass shared a statement with the outlet saying: "Nikki Margera felt compelled to file for legal separation from her husband, Bam Margera, due to his continuing drug and alcohol abuse, erratic behavior, and due to his failure to provide support for her and their son."

"Nikki has put everything she has into trying to get Bam to stay sober, and to trying to preserve her family," the statement added.
