Bebe Rexha has updated her fans on social media after a horrific incident at a recent concert left her needing three stitches on her face.

The 33-year-old singer was performing at The Rooftop at Pier 17 on Sunday during a date of her Best F'n Night Of My Life tour when she was struck in the face by a phone that was launched at her by a person in the crowd.

Rexha was seen walking towards the front of the stage while singing one of her hits when the item was thrown from the distance, hitting her directly near the eye.

The musician doubles over and grabs her face in pain before falling to her knees in front of her fans.

Check out a clip of the moment below:

People quickly rush to Rexha's side, helping her up and escorting her off the stage.

Footage of the moment was uploaded to Twitter by the popular news account Pop Base, where it was then seen by thousands of other fans who were left concerned for the star's welfare.

Things only heated up after it was reported by Rexha's mom that she needed three stitches near her eye and while she was receiving medical attention, the perpetrator who threw the device was tracked down and arrested.

"On Sunday, June 18, 2023 at approximately 2200 hours, police were notified of an assault that occurred at the concert space of Pier 17 located at 89 South Street, within the confines of the 1st Precinct," a update by the NYPD stated. "A preliminary investigation on scene determined that a 27-year-old male intentionally threw a cell phone at a 33-year-old female performer on stage, striking her about the face.

"The individual was taken into custody on scene and removed to the 1st Precinct for arrest processing. The aided female was removed by EMS to an area hospital in stable condition," the statement added before revealing that the suspect has also now been arrested and charged.

In the wake of the incident, Rexha has now taken to social media to personally update her fans on her condition.

The 33-year-old posted two snapshots of the injury alongside the caption "I'm good."

In the images you can clearly see purple bruising as well as the scar just above the star's left eye, slitting through her eyebrow.

Fans and friends both took to the comments to wish her well during this difficult time.

We're glad to see that Rexha is doing well and we hope this incident serves as a warning to those who think they can take liberties at concerts.
