The developers of Call of Duty: Warzone have confirmed that duos are coming.

This is exciting news for fans of the game, which has proven to be a hit since it was released back in March, and a testament to the fact that developers Infinity Ward and Raven Software give the people what they want.

At the time of the game's launch, players could take part in the game in groups of three, but this was later altered to allow people to play as both solo players and as quads.

However, in response to popular demand, the developers of the game have increased its functionality to include duos.

Unfortunately, there's no current release date for this new feature, but there's no doubt that it will give fans of Warzone something to look forward to.

In an interview with GamerGen, Amos Hodge, the creative director of Raven Software said: "We had duos on Plunder, but I'm not sure where duos is, we got some bugs to work out with duos. But we're listening to the community - if you noticed, we launched with just trios, then we added solos, then we added quads, so we will get to a place where we add duos in the future.

"There's just no exact time I can give you for now, but duos is coming."

As more modes are added to Warzone, it means that further strategies and additions will have to be added to the game to keep players playing, so it will be interesting to see what other changes duos prompts.

This news comes after a company put out an ad for a Call of Duty 'guru' to help coach struggling players earlier this month, and a 24-year-old gamer went off to fight ISIS in Syria after learning skills playing Call of Duty last year.
