Amber Heard has been spotted walking with crutches after she injured her hip while training for a marathon.
Heard, widely known for her work in Aquaman but also due to her high-profile legal case against her former husband Johnny Depp, was spotted on crutches in Madrid, Spain.
The 37-year-old was holding a black cane firmly in her right hand while accompanying her daughter Oonagh, and her sister, Whitney Henriquez to the playground, as reported by Page Six.
Despite her hip injury, the actress juggled various responsibilities, utilizing the crutch as a safety measure while still actively engaging with her daughter.
Watch Heard in the latest trailer for Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom:She was often seen stopping to pick up Oonagh or holding her hand as she ventured independently. At one point, Heard crouched down while maintaining her grip on the crutch.
This wasn't the first time Amber Heard was seen with crutches. Last month, photos obtained by Page Six depicted the actress with both crutches and a beige cast covering her left forearm, wrist, and fingers.
In response to questions from paparazzi, Heard attributed her need for crutches to a hip injury sustained during her vigorous training for the annual New York City Marathon, scheduled for the first Sunday of November.
In another story about the actress, her former partner Elon Musk shared a private snap of her in cosplay last month, and she apparently didn't give him permission to do so.
The incident unfolded on Musk's social media platform, X (formerly Twitter), where he posted a photograph of Heard dressed as Mercy from the popular game Overwatch.
This snapshot from their past relationship surfaced in a newly released biography about the billionaire, quickly capturing the attention of fans and onlookers. Musk, seemingly undeterred by the potential repercussions, chose to share the picture.
Expressing his enthusiasm for Heard's cosplay choice, Musk remarked: "She did dress up as Mercy. It was awesome."
However, this move by the billionaire ignited a firestorm of criticism as many questioned whether Heard had granted permission for the private image to be shared. Musk faced accusations of acting "disgustingly" by potentially disregarding Heard's privacy rights.
According to a source cited by Page Six, the actress was unaware of Musk's intentions to share the image and had expected it to remain private. The source further revealed that Heard had reluctantly agreed to cooperate with Walter Isaacson, the author of the biography, "out of respect for Elon."
The biography provides insight into the effort Heard invested in creating her Mercy costume. Apparently, at Musk's request and because she resembled the Overwatch character "she spent two months designing and commissioning a head-to-toe costume so she could role-play for him."
Musk and Heard began their relationship in 2017, shortly after Heard's marriage to Johnny Depp had ended. However, it seems that Musk's family did not harbor warm feelings toward her. In the biography, Kimbal Musk, Elon's brother, alleges that the family held a strong aversion to Heard.
Kimbal expressed: "It’s really sad that he falls in love with these people who are really mean to him. They’re beautiful, no question, but they have a very dark side, and Elon knows they are toxic."
