By now you've probably heard that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are expecting their first child. The news first came out last month, when it was announced that Meghan was pregnant five months after their much-publicised wedding.
On their official Instagram page, Kensington Palace released a statement, which read:
"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019.
"Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public."
Since then, there has been a lot of attention on the happy couple, from the new rules that Meghan will have to follow now that she is pregnant, to the baby presents they've received, to the way her family has reacted. All in all, it's not the best time of the year to make the announcement that you're pregnant too.
Unfortunately for comedian Amy Schumer, this is exactly the position she found herself in. There's such a thing as stealing thunder, but when it's a Royal couple, it's hard to get too mad about it.
Schumer is having a child with husband Chris Fischer - but it's not all glitter and gold. While Meghan Markle continues to make her first few months of pregnancy look like a walk in the park, Schumer is being pretty upfront about hers - and it's not going that great.
At a stand-up show of Schumer's last Friday, the actress opened up about what it was like to have a bun in the oven - and how she can't help but compare herself to Meghan Markle, who is obviously going through it all in the most graceful way possible.
"You know who it's not fun to be pregnant at the same time as? Meghan Markle!" the comedian joked at her show in Las Vegas. "She's walking around in heels and cradling her baby that's not even there, and I'm barely wearing underwear."
It's not too easy to go through as it is, and the comedian is not exactly thrilled about certain aspects of the pregnancy. "I don't like it. I've had a really tough pregnancy so far," she said on Friday.
This isn't exactly the first time she's spoken out about the harsh reality of being pregnant; she has opened up previously about how her first trimester has given her serious morning sickness and left her pretty exhausted.
It's easy to look at what other people are doing, whether it's the Royal Family or our friends on social media, and wonder why our lives aren't working out quite so well.
At the end of the day, however, more people are going to relate to what Amy Schumer is going through than the all-too-perfect world of the Royals.
