Angelina Jolie has revealed that she got matching ink with her daughter Vivienne Jolie.

The 49-year-old Hollywood star worked with her 16-year-old child on the Broadway musical, The Outsiders, which was adapted from S.E. Hinton's book and a 1983 film of the same name.

Jolie is listed as a producer on the electrifying show, while young Vivienne is credited as a producer’s assistant.

The mother and daughter duo attended the 77th Annual Tony Awards, where the musical took home the top prize for Best Musical.

In a recent interview with CR Fashion Book, the Eternals star revealed she got matching tattoos with Vivenne after their shared experience on the set of the Broadway show.

"I got 'Stay Gold' with my daughter Viv during our time with The Outsiders," she said. For context, the quote - which means stay good and always do the right thing - is the last statement the character makes in the show. It's also the name of a song included in the play.

"It means so much to us separately and together," Jolie explained, adding: "There is also a Bird that I share with some of my children that is personal to us."

Vivienne is one of six children Jolie shares with former husband Brad Pitt, along with sons Maddox, 23, Pax, 20, and Knox, 16, and daughters Zahara, 19, and Shiloh, 18.

The former couple tied the knot back in 2014, but - just two years later - the Maleficent star filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences.

It was previously reported in May that Vivienne dropped her father's surname in the Playbill for the musical - going from Vivienne Jolie-Pitt to just Vivienne Jolie. It is currently unknown if the teenager has legally changed her name.

The teenager is not the only "Bradgelina" child to go through this change as Zahara - the eldest daughter of Jolie and Pitt - opted to go by Zahara Marley Jolie in a video for Essence.

In addition to this, Shiloh also legally went from Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt to Shiloh Jolie after her 18th birthday. The documents disclosed that she selected "personal" as the reason for wanting to drop her 60-year-old dad's last name.

The couple's tumultuous 2016 split came shortly after a now-well-documented incident on a private jet.

In a cross-complaint filed against the Fight Club star in 2022, Jolie accused Pitt of “choking one of the children and striking another in the face," per Today. The actress also claimed her ex-husband grabbed her and shook her.

Jolie opened up about the separation publicly in 2021, telling The Guardian that she's not "the kind of person who makes decisions like the decisions I had to make lightly".

"It took a lot for me to be in a position where I felt I had to separate from the father of my children," she continued before adding: "I mean, in some ways, it's been the last decade. There's a lot I can't say."

She also revealed in her Vogue cover story that her children are the reason why she's still alive today. "I was 26 when I became a mother," she told the outlet. "My entire life changed. Having children saved me — and taught me to be in this world differently."
