Brad and Angelina tied the knot back in 2014, but - just two years later - the Maleficent star filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences, per TODAY.

Several years later, in an interview with Vogue in 2021, Jolie said she separated from Pitt the “wellbeing” of her family. Their 2016 split came shortly after a now-well-documented incident on a private jet.

In a later cross-complaint filed against Pitt in 2022, per NBC News, Jolie accused Pitt of “choking one of the children and striking another in the face”. The actress also claimed her husband grabbed her and shook her.

Following an FBI investigation into the incident, no criminal charges were pursued.

“It was the right decision,” Jolie told Vogue regarding the divorce. “I continue to focus on their healing. Some have taken advantage of my silence, and the children see lies about themselves in the media, but I remind them that they know their own truth and their own minds. In fact, they are six very brave, very strong young people.”

As the couple's divorce continues, PEOPLE has reported that 15-year-old Vivienne Jolie-Pitt has opted to go by a different name - dropping her father's surname from the Playbill for the new musical The Outsiders.

As such, the teen is simply listed as “Vivienne Jolie".

The publication reports that it is currently unknown if the teenager has legally changed her name - as representatives for both parents were unable to be reached for comment.

Vivienne's decision means this is the second "Bradgelina" child to make such a change in recent months.

Last November, Zahara - the eldest daughter of Jolie and Pitt - also revealed a name change, opting to go by Zahara Marley Jolie in a video for Essence.

Of course, this wouldn't be the first teenager of famous parents to debut a name change in recent weeks.

Tom Cruise's estranged daughter with ex-wife Katie Holmes - formerly Suri Cruise - also appears to have a new name.

According to TMZ, the Mission Impossible star has committed to covering Suri's college tuition and various additional costs, yet purported attempts to establish communication with his daughter have reportedly been met with silence.

A source close to the family shed light on the situation, stating: "He does not exist to Katie or Suri, and his daughter does not want to rely on him for anything.

With a noticeable distance between the father and daughter, a playbill for Suri's high school musical obtained by Hello! Magazine has shed light on a new name for the Hollywood actor's daughter.

It disclosed that Suri introduced herself as Suri Noelle in the playbill of her school's rendition of The Go-Go's jukebox musical, Head Over Heels.

Departing from her father's surname, Suri adopted her mother's middle name, signaling a subtle shift in identity.

Malia Obama has also ditched her famous last name as she walked the red carpet for her directorial debut.
