Arrest made after multiple shots fired at Rihanna’s house while she was home
An arrest has been made after several shots were fired at Rihanna's home in Beverly Hills, California.
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) confirmed that the frightening incident unfolded on Sunday (March 8) afternoon.
Authorities say the suspect, a woman in her 30s, has now been taken into custody following a brief search.
Gunfire Reported Outside Rihanna’s Home
Police responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 13:15 local time. CNN reported that the call came in at around 1.20PM.
It's been reported that an unnamed woman fired around five to seven shots from her vehicle using an AR-15 rifle at the house, striking the gate.
The Los Angeles Times revealed that one round also penetrated a wall of the mansion.
A law enforcement source disclosed that the 38-year-old 'Umbrella' singer was inside the home at the time the shots were fired.
Thankfully, no injuries have been reported.
Suspect Found At Shopping Center
Authorities say the suspect quickly fled the area after firing the shots, but officers were able to track down her vehicle roughly eight miles away from the singer’s home.
Police located the vehicle at the Sherman Oaks Galleria shopping centre, approximately eight miles from the property, per The Independent.
The woman was taken into custody there and has not yet been publicly identified.
LAPD Captain Mike Bland did not provide a motive for the shooting but confirmed that the weapon believed to have been used in the attack has been recovered.
The department’s elite Robbery-Homicide Division is now investigating the incident.
A Family Home For Rihanna And A$AP Rocky
The Grammy-winning singer, whose real name is Robyn Fenty, lives at the property with A$AP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers.
Last September, the Barbados-born superstar gave birth to the couple’s third child, a girl.
They also share two sons, Riot and RZA.
The family made headlines earlier in 2025 when A$AP Rocky was cleared in a high-profile criminal trial.
In February 2025, a jury found him not guilty of two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm stemming from a 2021 confrontation in Hollywood in which a former friend alleged Rocky fired a gun at him.
The Grammy-nominated rapper had faced up to 24 years in prison if convicted on all charges.
