Britney Spears has finally broken her silence about the controversial documentary that exposed her mistreatment by the media, relationships, and the ongoing conversation regarding her conservatorship.

Back in February, the world was gripped by the Framing Britney Spears documentary, which followed the singer's career from the Mickey Mouse Club to now.

Throughout the show, viewers were left shocked by a number of concerning issues - such as how the young singer was treated in interviews and TV appearances, and how she has been subjected to a court-ordered conservatorship for the past 12 years.

Now, in a new Instagram post, Spears has spoken about the Hulu documentary for the very first time.

Writing alongside a minute-long video of her dancing, the 39-year-old singer starts by saying: "My life has always been very speculated..."

She then adds: "For my sanity I need to dance to @iamstevent every night of my life [...] to feel wild and human and alive!!! I have been exposed my whole life performing in front of people".

"It takes a lot of strength to TRUST the universe with your real vulnerability cause I've always been so judged... insulted... and embarrassed by the media... and I still am till this day," Spears adds.

Then, the 'You Drive Me Crazy' singer addressed the recent documentary, writing: "As the world keeps on turning and life goes on we still remain so fragile and sensitive as people!!!

"I didn't watch the documentary but from what I did see of it I was embarrassed by the light they put me in ... I cried for two weeks and well .... I still cry sometimes !!!! I do what I can in my own spirituality with myself to try and keep my own joy ... love ... and happiness."

Britney concluded the post by writing: "Every day dancing brings me joy !!! I'm not here to be perfect ... perfect is boring ... I'm here to pass on kindness".

Through the post, the singer also used an abundance of emojis and exclamation marks.

The post came just hours after Spears concerned fans on Instagram when she shared a black-and-white photograph showing a Victorian-era woman wearing a long dress, who has turned away from the camera, holding a small skull-headed child in her arms.

She captioned the post: "Devil is in the details …. wouldn’t want this baby to hit me one more time !!!!" Complete with devil and laughing emojis.

The post led to many people in the comments section voicing their concern for the singer.
