March 8th marks International Women's Day, when we celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The agenda this year remains the same - putting an end to violence against women and discrimination in the workplace, as well as ensuring a more diverse representation across all industries. But the difference is, in this post #MeToo and #TimesUp World, it appears that people are finally listening.

Well, some people are. Tobacco tycoon and bona fide misogynist, Travers "Candyman" Beynon, has used the the opportunity to reinforce degrading stereotypes. The 45-year-old Australian millionaire made his fortune by being the heir to the Freechoice tobacco empire. While he's the managing director for his parents' company, he doesn't spend much time in the office. He spends it in the Candy Shop Mansion, throwing lavish parties with scantily clad and totally naked women. But sometimes they serve an important purpose. In this photo, he uses them as "sunblock:"

Styling himself the Aussie Hugh Hefner, Beynon is famous for his "Freaks Unleashed" parties. They're a celebration of hedonism and debauchery, in which hundreds of women are invited, but can't get in unless they exhibit their "freakiest traits." These raunchy parties have sparked controversy in the past, as the photos revealed women being walked on leashes like dogs. And in one video, Beynon tattooed his company's logo on a woman's butt. So it should come as no surprise this is how he celebrated International Women's Day:

In the photo, Beynon lounges in bed next to two naked women covering their boobs with their hands. The ladies' legs are spread in the air to form a "W," for "Women," or "Worst Way To Celebrate Women's Day Ever." Take your pick. Off to the side, a young lady wearing nothing but high heels and a G-string displays her butt to the camera, and bends over to vacuum. See, women aren't just objects to Beynon. They're also good at cleaning. When we celebrate women's achievements, their cleaning skills often to go overlooked. (And just to drive the point home, he captioned this #InternationalWomensDay.”)

In the comments, one person wrote, "You’re an a**hole. Respect women and investigate why this day is commemorated. You can have a lot of money, but your brain is poor and useless." And another person wrote, "i want to come there and f--k all those hot girls soo hard." Both excellent points.

While many accuse the "Candyman" of being sexist, he defends his lascivious lifestyle. "They say that I degrade women," says Beynon. "But when you have so many women like I do, you can’t afford to degrade women. It’s not going to work."

Beynon actually has two young daughters, who are surely growing up in a feminist environment. In fact, the Aussie tycoon loves women so much that one isn't enough.  He's in a polyamorous relationship with his wife, and has multiple girlfriends.

"In bed, there's four girls as an average. I often don't get much sleep," Beynon explained in an interview. "They love my imagination and my creativity. You need that when you've got multiple girls. I think I come up with a new position every week. Bedroom time isn’t for me; it’s to stimulate the girls. To be good in bed it’s not about you."

Happy International Women's Day, everyone!
