If there's one family out there that you don't want to mess with, it's the Kardashians. They're the royal family of reality TV for good reason and have managed to reign supreme for years now, despite numerous noteworthy feuds. Seriously, is there no-one that they haven't had beef with? They're definitely no strangers to drama, as Taylor Swift, Chloe Moretz, and now Jordyn Woods, have all learned to their peril.
Anyway, recently, Kourtney Kardashian took to Instagram to upload a picture of her latest photoshoot. The racy snap featured Kourtney posing by sitting nude on the edge of a sink with her legs crossed, her hair wrapped up in a towel, holding a cup of coffee in one hand and a laptop in the other. I don't know about you, but that's not a position that I adopt casually in everyday life. But hey - it's artistic license I suppose, right?
However, for some, the image was ripe for mockery. Australian comedian Celeste Barber, best known on Instagram for her funny imitations of other stars, took to the social media site to share her own imitation of Kourtney's pic. She captioned the side-by-side comparison by writing: "When you’re flat out trying to keep the world interested in your talent." However, Kourtney isn't one to take that kind of derision lying down and promptly took to the comments of Barber's post, writing: "When you've got so much talent, might as well share it," along with a cheeky a winking emoji. Many took this to be a clapback to the image, though others have pointed out that Kourtney might well simply be joining in with the joke.
However, a number of Celeste's followers responded positively to her picture. For instance, a woman with the handle @stavvy01 stated: "Love your work @celestebarber. Can you do one at the hairdresser getting your hair blow-dried and you trying to do it the same at home. Has always been my challenge. [sic]" Meanwhile, someone else with the handle @nanabriggs wrote: "On the left- fantasy..... On the right - reality. Fantasy is a trick mirror, plastic and can't hold a candle to you dear! Thank you for keeping it real. Beautiful. [sic]"
Kourtney is capable of turning the other cheek too, though. In a recent interview on The Today Show, she opened up about how she has learned to be friends with her ex Scott Disick for the sake of their kids. She stated: "I feel like I can show a message, too, of like parents can get along and work together and travel together. And I think it’s a good message to show other people. I am not doing it for that reason, but I think the positive things that we are doing is nice too."
